    Ep. #4: TQL Boycott Leader Speaks On How This Whole Thing Started (Mike Boston)

    👍 Like ... 🎬Subscribe ... 🚀Share In this episode, we dive into the story of Mike Boston, owner of WM On Time Trucking, LLC,  and his leadership in the boycott of TQL and JB Hunt brokerages. TQL, one of the largest freight brokerage firms in the US, is accused of many bad business practices, some of which being charging carriers for made up damages that were regular maintenance items that TQL should’ve been paying for. Things of this nature have left many independent truckers feeling undervalued and mistreated, not only by TQL but by many of the larger freight brokerages across the country. Mike Boston, a trucker himself, led the charge in calling for a boycott of TQL, urging his fellow truckers to stand in solidarity against the company's discriminatory practices. Through his efforts, Boston was able to garner widespread attention and support for the cause, leading to a significant drop in TQL ability to move their freight, however, the fight for justice in the transportation industry is far from over.  There are still many areas in which reform is needed, from the treatment of truckers to the environmental impact of transportation. We explore these issues and discuss what steps can be taken to bring about real change in the industry.
