    Episode 1 - Esther 4:14

Welcome to the first episode of "His Spirit, His Word," a podcast where I delve into scripture and discuss their meaning to me. Today I will be discussing Esther 4:14, a verse that played a pivotal role in my decision to start this podcast. I have been a Christian for many years and I have seen firsthand the transformative power of the Word of God in my own life and in the lives of others. But it wasn't until recently that I felt called to share my knowledge and experiences with a wider audience. I was in prayer one day, asking God if there was more I could do to learn and spread his message. Immediately after praying about this God showed me Esther 4:14. For those who may not be familiar with this verse, it reads: "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" As I read these words, I felt a sudden clarity. It was as if God was speaking directly to me, telling me that I needed to take the next step and share what I was learning. There were many doubts and fears that crept into my mind. Would anyone listen? Would I be able to articulate my thoughts and ideas clearly? Would I be able to make a real impact in the world? Despite these doubts, I knew that God had called me to act. I realized that this was as much about me and my journey as it was to reach others. God will make sure that whoever needs to hear my podcast will. So, I took the first step and began researching how to start a podcast. As I continued to prepare for the launch of "His Story, His Word," I reflected on the meaning of Esther 4:14. What did it mean for me, personally, to be "called for such a time as this?" For me, it meant that I had been given a unique set of experiences and talents that could be used to spread God's message. It meant that I had a responsibility to use my voice to speak out and to encourage others to live a life of faith. As I thought about all the incredible stories and experiences that I wanted to share on this podcast, I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. I was eager to share and couldn’t wait to get started. So, I didn’t wait. I recorded this first episode in my garage on my iPhone. In time hopefully the quality of the podcast will improve. I know that starting a podcast is just one small step in fulfilling my calling to share God's message with the world. There will be challenges along the way, and I'll need to rely on my faith and the support of my community to keep going. But I believe that with God's guidance, anything is possible. And I hope that this podcast will be a testament to the power of faith, perseverance, and the transformative nature of the Word of God. So, thank you for joining me on this journey. Together, let's explore His Word, and find inspiration and encouragement for the road ahead.
