Learning to Lead by Learning to Serve | Julie White

Join me, Paul Radke, and my guest Julie White, as we plunge into the compelling world of servant leadership, faith, and authenticity. Julie recounts her spiritual journey and the birth of the transformative Princess Perspective Experience. Our conversation explores the essence of what it means to lead in the Kingdom of God.  Our frank discussion touches on the anointing and authority that comes with performing spiritual practices and the crucial role of the Holy Spirit in directing and empowering our leadership voyage. We don't stop at leadership, though - baptism and ordination, and their spiritual significance beyond their symbolic acts, also come under our radar.  Our in-depth conversation isn't just about leadership and religious practices. It's about challenging you to delve deeper into your faith, prompting self-reflection, and inspiring authenticity in your relationship with God. Julie and I discuss biblical concepts such as foot washing, baptism, tithing, and fasting, highlighting their spiritual rather than ritualistic importance. We wrap up our exploration expressing our respect for leaders who genuinely serve in ministry and the necessity of aligning with leaders who reflect your values. Join us in this exploration of leadership, faith, and authenticity, and prepare to be inspired. Want to support Making Room Podcast? Finding Jesus Outside of Religion

Growing up as a preacher's kid, I was surrounded by religion and church culture. Yet, despite my upbringing, I struggled to forge a deep, personal connection with God. Has this ever happened to you? If so, join me in this episode of Making Room. We delve into the idea that a relationship with Jesus doesn't have to be confined to the traditional church setting. In fact, I found my most meaningful encounters with Jesus beyond the church walls. This is not your usual Sunday sermon, it's an invitation to explore a different path to intimacy with God. Recognizing Jesus isn't confined to Sunday mornings. Picture this - you spot someone familiar at the grocery store but can't quite place them. You know you know them, but you can't remember from where. That disconnection can often be how we treat our relationship with Jesus, acknowledging Him only in a specific setting but failing to see His presence throughout our lives. I learned that just as knowing someone deeply requires more than a few minutes a week, forming a strong bond with Jesus necessitates recognizing Him in all aspects of our lives. Join me in this episode as we shed light on the importance of carrying our faith beyond the church doors to experience Jesus in all His fullness. Want to support Making Room Podcast?
