Bears vs. Patriots, Packers vs. Lions & NFC North Trade Deadline Dreams

The crew starts with a chaotic cold open and some NFC North trash talk, then gets into tonight's Bears vs. Patriots matchup and whether Chicago can control the game. From there they cover Vikings vs. Colts, play a trade-value roster game, and go through trade deadline rumors and dream fits around the division. They also ask whether Packers vs. Lions turns into a shootout. Then come the weekly picks, fantasy calls and a bit of injury superstition. Along the way the hosts talk about social media fandom, why podcast debate beats fighting online, and some loose ends: the NBA, the World Series, a soccer shoutout and a playful division sign-off.

NFC North Rising: Bears Breakout, Packers Depth Worries & Are the Vikings Legit?

The NFC North is suddenly looking like the class of the NFC, and we're digging into all of it. We break down Caleb Williams and the Bears offense after the Falcons game, and whether Chicago can keep it going on a short week against the Patriots on Thursday night. On the Green Bay side, we look at whether Jordan Love has enough receiving depth beyond Golden and Watson, why the Packers' defense might be the real story, how much Jacobs matters, and how worried Packers fans should be about Detroit. We also get into trade fantasies, ask whether the Vikings are legit or still the division's big question mark, and debate whether any NFC North team can grab the NFC's top seed. Plus: who's the first head coach to get fired?

    Monday Reactions: Bears-Packers Fallout, the 5-0 Vikings & a Wide-Open NFC North

We break down the Bears-Packers fallout and try to keep early-season overreactions in check. Was the loss really on Chicago's offense, or did Green Bay expose deeper defensive problems? Did the Packers actually fix anything, and how far can they go without a run game? Are the 5-0 Vikings for real, or just banking wins before the schedule gets harder? We also cover a division race that's shaping up to be a playoff brawl, turnovers and online whiplash, social media toxicity and trolling, our NFC North playoff picks (Lions down, Bears up, Packers and Vikings in), the scene inside Lambeau with a split crowd and high ticket prices, and closing thoughts on line play and late-season conditions.

Packers vs. Bears: Is This Matt LaFleur's Defining Game? (feat. Easton Butler)

The oldest rivalry in the NFL is back, and the pressure is on Green Bay. Packers fan Easton Butler joins the show to talk about how he became a fan, and we look back at the emotional history of Bears–Packers, from Mike Ditka to Walter Payton. Then we get into where things stand now. What's wrong with the Packers offense? How are the Bears approaching the game, and which team has more to lose? We ask whether Sunday is one of the biggest games Matt LaFleur has ever coached, whether a loss would put him on the hot seat, and whether he's worth the extension or better suited to being a coordinator. We also look at whether the Packers' pass catchers are really producing or just padding their stats in garbage time. We finish with final predictions and our weekly picks.

Bears vs. Packers: Can Chicago Finally Flip the Rivalry?

One of the NFL's oldest rivalries gets a full pregame breakdown. Four fans talk about how a Kentucky native ended up a lifelong Bears fan, why the Bears-Packers rivalry has swung back and forth over the years, and whether this Chicago team finally has the edge. We cover how the Bears can win (and how they could lose), what Ben Johnson changes, whether the Bears defense is for real this season, and Green Bay's path to an upset, including whether Jordan Love can handle the pressure and if the Packers should run first or come out throwing. We finish with predictions, what a Bears win would mean, and Lambeau travel plans.
