    1956 TIME Mag Article "Witches Every Month"

    This short episode is packed with mini contemplations. I give an overview of an article from TIME magazine 1956 titled "Witches Every Month" where a male gynecologist shares his insights about treating women with premenstrual tension. My Grandma was 28 that year and it is the same year my mother was born. This is a glimpse into the world they were living in and what beliefs and ideas they might have held around their bodies and experiences as women.     In this episode I explore a brand new format: Segments! Now easier to listen to, pause and reflect, journal, whatever your heart desires. The first segment is a listener topic: Grief. I go off on a slight tangent about human suffering, but steer it right back around with three practical contemplations for learning to navigate grief individually or in community. Next, I introduce a tool that I find super fascinating, but also useful in my life: The Blue Book. It's all about releasing emotional patterns with essential oils, but the most fun is in the connections I made with the thymus gland and the higher heart chakra.
