Who Is The Holy Spirit? He Is God!

This is a scary but very important passage in the New Testament about the judgement of God within the church. The passage is Acts 5:3-5. Many would expect this to be in the Old Testament scriptures but it goes to show God is not to be played with. Who Is The Holy Spirit? Intercessor For The Saints

The episode is rooted in these verses from Romans 8 and I pray it increases your faith in the truine God! Romans 8:26-27: In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Who is The Holy Spirit? NT pt.1 (the giver of physical and spiritual life)

We are finally in the New Testament! The first place that the Holy Spirit is mentioned in the NT is in Matthew 1:18 and we see he is the one who put Jesus in Mary‘s womb.  He is the giver of physical and spiritual life! Here are the scriptural references I used: Matthew 1:18-20, Job 33:4, Job 34:14-15, and 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 Just a heads up I briefly mentioned Calvinism/reformed theology/the doctrines of grace in regards to regeneration/being born again. I don’t hold to Calvinism/reformed theology but I wanted to be clear that I don’t believe any Christian plays a part in their salvation in terms of meriting salvation because of faith (synergism is a word that Calvinists use to describe that God rewards us for our faith). I realize the topic of Calvinism is controversial but this conversation about salvation is of utmost importance. The Holy Spirit is the one who gives us this new birth that the scriptures talk about in the old and new testaments. Who is The Holy Spirit? Pt.5 (The Spirit of knowledge and of the Fear of the LORD)

This is the last episode going over Isaiah 11:2 and it's about The Spirit of Knowledge and of the Fear of the LORD. This verse and passages in revelation refer to the "seven spirits of God." The number seven represents completion/perfection.  We have been given the perfect and complete Spirit from God in Christ.  If these messages bless you and you want to support me here are links to my cash app, paypal, and patreon: Cash app: $kcarella46 Paypal: paypal.me/kastles93 Patreon: Patreon.com/knowingthedepthsofthegospel Become a Paid Subscriber: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/knowingtheholyspirit/subscribe Thank you so much for listening and I pray your desire for the Holy Spirit, The Father And The Son grows exponentially!

Who Is The Holy Spirit? Pt.4 (The Spirit of counsel and strength)

Just in this one verse in Isaiah 11:2 it mentions 4 titles of the Holy Spirit and we are going over them all! Don't seek more counsel and strength, seek the Spirit of counsel and strength! Here are the verses I used in this episode: Isaiah 25:1, Psalm 33:11, Proverbs 19:21, Psalm 20:6, Jeremiah 10:6, and Job 12:13.  Link to sermon about the Holy Spirit by Pastor Tim Dilena @ Times Square church: http://sermons.tsc.nyc/a-forsaken-fellowship/ Here are the Links to both podcasts:  Knowing the Holy Spirit: podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/knowingtheholyspirit  Transcendent Gospel: https://apple.co/415MbDI If these messages bless you and you want to support me here are links to my cash app, paypal, and patreon: Cash app: $kcarella46 Paypal: paypal.me/kastles93 Patreon: Patreon.com/knowingthedepthsofthegospel Become a Paid Subscriber: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/knowingtheholyspirit/subscribe Thank you so much for listening and I pray your desire for the Holy Spirit, The Father And The Son grows exponentially!

Who is the Holy Spirit? Pt.3 (the Spirit of wisdom and understanding)

Seek the person behind true wisdom and understanding and not just pursue wisdom and understanding. The Holy Spirit is to be sought after because he is personal and he is Holy. Here are the verses that I used: Job 33:4, Exodus 28:3, Deuteronomy 34:9, Proverbs 1:1-2, and Proverbs 3:5-6. Who Is The Holy Spirit? Pt. 1

In this episode I went through Genesis 1:2, Genesis 41:38, Exodus 31:1-5, and Numbers 11:24-29 and talked about how they leave clues as to who the Holy Spirit is. There are many verses about the Holy Spirit throughout the bible and that is why I’m creating multiple series around each subtopic about the Holy Spirit.
