    Holy Cannoli MFer's! We're back at it with even MORE guests! Thank goodness Dan has been able to fill the gaps during this long break, by bringing in some of our good friends from our F1 Threads crew. This week it's the "Fastest Yap" duo, here to talk race cars, play some QT, and of course be subjected to our awful jokes. Let's dive in with Paige and SK! 18:00 - Right off the bat, Dano's gotta be pickin' bones. If anybody's taking the "pointless" tag, it's the Midfield Pod, and we're ready to fight about it. As always, we get the origin stories, and learn about a crazy new gambling mechanism. Dan had a drool bucket off mic, so we didn't have to replace his carpet. We get the lowdown on "Yapper Standings", and discuss the Youth Movement in F1. Patty adds another bean to the pile he owes. 23:40 - Quuuueeeeesssstionable Trivia baby!! Lando themed this time around. The Yappers fare better than most, probably by ignoring Patrick as much as possible. As usual he bandwagons his way to a couple tallies. Patty drops his hot take on Albon yet again, and people are starting to come around.     Welcome back MFers! It's a 5 week break, so it's time for the Midfield Pod to step and cure your boredom! Don't worry, we brought some help. Natalie from "Girls Just Wanna F1" stopped by to do some heavy lifting for us. We rope her into a little Questionable Trivia, can she help Patrick, who knows nothing, about anything, ever? God let's hope so. 23:30 - We get to know our guest Natalie! Origin stories are our favorite here in the Midfield. With undenying-ly the BEST name in sports casting, we were hoping she'd share a little bit of her magic skills on our niche ideas. We talk new teams and regs, top teams, all the good stuff. Natalie is better at our stupid game than we are! We'll get our team to send her some beans for next time, just in case. 55:15 - Dan wrangles it back in for everyone's favorite, it's time for Questionable Trivia! Could be called, "do you know more F1 facts than a dog?". Patty's been getting closer lately, but this aint horseshoes. We're goin' Albon this round. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube! Let's dive into it.  4:35 - Scuderia Ferrari 14:10 - The defending champions and very much Midfielders, McLaren 17:00 - Haas 23:30 - Red Bull double dip  28:25 - Is the french team in the Midfield after a double points performance in China?      32:30 - Audi and their former team principal are leading the news today.     129 - The Five Bean Bet

    Welcome back, MFers. Boy have we got a full episode for you this time. We covered all eleven teams for the first time in Midfield Pod history. We trimmed the fat and added plenty of teams and drivers to our "No Talkies" list.  1:00 - Do we hate the new regulation set?  15:30 - Mercedes' Dominance in Melbourne  24:25 - Ferrari gonna Ferrari  35:10 - Is McLaren cooked? Andy and Patrick make an intriguing bet.  45:00 - First *DING* of the 2026 Season  50:45 - Is Red Bull suddenly likable with Christian Horner and Helmut Marko out of the picture? Will the RB2 be drivable this season?  60:30 - Haas are Kings of the Midfield after just one race. We really like one of their drivers.  1:09:05 - Racing Bulls showed out well in Quali, but fell back a bit during the race. We gotta do something about Arvid Lindblad's name. There's just too many D's to say it correctly. Someone please help us with a nickname here.  1:13:45 - Audi has piqued our interest with two very likable drivers, the "best looking car on the grid" and a Team Principal that is a lover, not a hater.  1:18:15 - Alpine...that's it, that's the tweet. Hard to say nice things with Flavio in charge.  1:24:20 - Williams is fat. Who are we to judge for being a bit overweight?  1:30:35 - The AMERICAN team, Cadillac, finished their inaugural Grand Prix over the weekend.     G'day Midfielders! Welcome to yet another off season episode. In these doldrums of Formula 1 racing, we like to bring in the big guns to help us cut through our hot, speculative takes. Old school MF'ers will remember our guest from many moons ago, that's right, we're goin' international! Rod from SUPERLICENSE is back with us, all the way from down undah! Once again, it's a right ol' hoot. 13:10 - You're biased! And we can't get over Rod being from another country, we might stop fanboying by the end of the episode, odds not great, but hey, you talk to someone on a whole 'nother continent and you'll feel good about yourself too! Is this the year of the George?! Toto's "flopping it out" so let's hope so! Preseason P10 picks! 24:30 - Overachieve, underachieve, green jacket-gold jacket, we are the king speculaTORS! Liam Lawsoms. Cadi, Audi, nobody is safe from what we think will happen next year. We talk about the Terminator and Patrick doesn't do his Arnold impression, what is this world coming to? Karl Malone? 36:05 - This episode's as good as a Redbull strategy. We're havin' fun here. Bikes? Not yet Dano. "When ya see the baby". Tennis though! Still over Patrick's head but we'll dip a toe. Don't shake hands with kids. Is it off the rails if there were never any rails to begin with? 0 Toaderance Policy. 43:50 - More questionable trivia!     126 - Wal Mart Gym Shoe Vibes

    Hey there MF'ers! It's everyone's favorite time of year, new livery season! The smell of fresh paint and burning rubber as a few teams are already hitting the track. We dive in to a few of our favorite, and not so favorite liveries, and play some Questionable Trivia! All with our good friend and co-host Andy! Let's dive in! 9:05 - Special shoes! Starting off sharp with the Haas. Keeping it clean, simple and refined, similar to last year but still a good classic look. We're hoping Haas pulls off a few fun special liveries throughout the season. Rebull looking even more similar to last year's car than the Haas team? If it ain't broke... 15:00 - Audi comin' in HAWT with they're color scheming. Possibly ripping off the McLaren chrome look from last year at Silverstone. It does in fact go to the moon, and the orange inside the intake is a dastardly look.  22:35 - The Mercs, Andy hates 'em. Patrick didn't really look at it and overall we're not too impressed. Quite possibly ruined their car and their season with this total hackjob of a livery. The And-1's of 2026 F1. 29:20 - Let's enjoy talking about Alpine while we still can! Leaning in on the pink is favorable to all of us here at the Midfield Pod. Dan finds a weird shovel and digs a weird hole for a bit. Let's hope they can drive as well as they can paint this year. 33:50 - Boo! Ferrari Boo! We like red cars. Sold their soul for an ugly car. No such thing as bad press, but there is such a thing as a bad livery. 40:50 - Been a long time since I rock 'n rolled. Andy and Patrick agree that there needs to be some gold on this car in some form or another. Looks fake without any sponsorships adorned, but we like the initial look for our American team. Little Williams chat to round things out. 51:30 - This game is the worst thing Patrick participates in every year. What is, Questionable Trivia! Even with Andy's help, he still can't figure out how to crack Dan's questionable questions. Dan slides in some bike racing just for kicks.
