These guys had something unique and perfect for the culture. Ride that wave. This season hasn’t hit the same, but I’m a huge fan and will always listen.
Note to producers: The episodes with interviews are not good. This shouldn’t be that type of podcast. Also, never do “full” episodes interviewing people. Never a good idea. Maybe a 15 minute segment (maybe). You lose your audience man.
Also, the audience can see everything. We can see when you’re not prepared. We can see when you’re over-prepared. This show was great because of the natural flow of sports banter and realness between Ticket & Truth (whom are both naturally funny and smart as hell). Use that natural flow. Also, whoever the guy is with the stats and questions… that guy is GOLD. Keep him. Use him correctly. He’s a vital piece to this. His presence allows Ticket & Truth to be themselves, because his fat checking, timely questions, and access to data is perfect for the flow. Don’t over-use KG as the host, narrator, and all that. We want to hear him answering most of the questions, not asking them.
*last season when Truth walked to the studio and live streamed it was some of the best content I’ve ever seen! Hilarious. Real. Personable. Think of a way to recapture this feeling and interaction once per season. I have a few ideas. Haha.
