    Episode 86 - The Police Album Review, Mike is Back in the Midwest and School is Out For Summer

    This week on the 8 Tracks podcast, the boys have another fun show for the fans, headlined by another Album Review! This week we are turning the clock back to 1978 for The Police's debut album "Outlandos d'Amour". We run through this star studded track list, open Mike's eyes up to this great rock/punk band, and compare them to CCR in terms of their legendary short career as well. If you're a fan of Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers, you'll definitely enjoy this review. In addition, Mike is back in the US and has some fun stories from his annual road trip back from Arizona and our recent trip to the Indy 500.     Episode 83 - "Man on the Run" Documentary Review, Paul McCartney and Wings Deep Dives, Rock 'N Roll HOF 2026 Inductee List

    This week on the 8 Tracks podcast, the boys have an another great show for the people, headlined by another documentary review! We have been listening to a lot of music by Paul McCartney and Wings and as such, are reviewing McCartney's newest documentary about the band: "Man on the Run". The film chronicles McCartney's life after the break-up of the Beatles and the eventual formation of his new band: Wings! We discuss the highlights, why Wings deserves more attention as a great 70s band as well as all the new facts they learned about the group. If you're a Paul McCartney or Beatles fan, I'm sure you will enjoy! In addition, our favorite organization, The Rock 'N Roll HOF, recently announced their 2026 inductees and maybe for the first time in podcast history, we say something positive about them! We discuss the current year inductees and celebrate those such as Phil Collins who have waited a long time for this great honor. Mike runs through his two favorite segments and the usual shenanigans with another great "On This Day in Music History" segment and two new "Groove of the Week" recaps, naturally they are Wings' songs. Nick rounds it out with two great "Vinyl Friday" recaps for the people including Fleetwood Mac's "Fleetwood Mac" and Paul Simon's "Graceland".
