This podcast is a short Bible Study designed to take you through the Bible, one prayer at a time! We will study the circumstances behind each prayer and learn to strategically apply what we have learned to our prayer lives. In this podcast you will learn how to pray, the power of prayer, the art of repentance and more.Real life means real pressures, but Prayer Reaches Every Single Situation (PRESS)! We don't always know how God will get in our situation, but we can be assured that He will get into our situations. Let's press together! The initial purpose of the PRESS was to actively recruit people to pray and document their prayer time so that TPYD could account for 1,000,000 minutes of prayer in one month. Not only did TPYD reach it's goal of accounting for a million minutes of prayer, but it was soon realized that the PRESS was bigger than simply counting minutes. In just a few short months of advertising, TPYD was on TV, radio, doing conferences and had over 17,000 fans on Facebook. The movement was only beginning! Now there a have been PRESS clubs in over 40 locations- including universities, YMCAs, neighborhoods, high schools and more!     Keep Going!

    In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we explore Paul's prayer in 2 Thessalonians 1 and what it means to be counted worthy of the calling of God. Writing to a church facing persecution and hardship, Paul doesn't promise easier circumstances. Instead, he prays that God would strengthen them, fulfill the work of faith with power, and glorify Himself through their lives.  Reagan Porter joins the conversation and highlights the importance of remaining steadfast through difficult seasons. Together, we discuss how faith is strengthened before the battle arrives, why testimonies matter, and how God uses the stories of one generation to encourage the next. A powerful reflection on the PRESS Movement itself reminds us that God often uses painful seasons to produce purpose and bring people into our lives that we never knew we would need.  The episode also examines the tension between temporary suffering and eternal perspective.     Lord, Keep Me

    In this episode of the PRESS Movement Podcast, we unpack Paul’s prayer in Colossians 1—a prayer focused on spiritual maturity, endurance, and truly knowing God. Paul doesn’t pray for comfort. He prays that believers would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, spiritual wisdom, and understanding so they can walk worthy of the Lord. This episode explores the difference between knowing about God and actually knowing Him. Intellectual knowledge isn’t enough. Degrees, theology, and information cannot replace revelation through the Spirit of God. Real understanding comes when the Author explains His own words. Paul also prepares believers for reality: hardship will come. Longsuffering will come. Patience will be required. But the instruction is clear: Have joy anyway. Because your circumstances do not change what God has already done. You’ve already been delivered from darkness.  You’ve already been redeemed.  You’ve already been forgiven. This episode is a reminder to keep growing, keep fighting, and keep the main thing the main thing. True, biblical love is not passive—it is intentional, informed, and aligned with God’s will. It requires understanding who God is and the ability to discern what pleases Him. This kind of love challenges us to grow, to correct, and sometimes to confront—not out of emotion, but out of truth. Even more powerful is the context: Paul writes this while in chains. Bound physically, yet still praying for others to grow spiritually. That’s real love.     Do you know the power you have?

    In Acts 16, we see what real faith looks like under pressure. Paul and Silas are doing exactly what God called them to do—preaching, delivering, and advancing the gospel. But obedience doesn’t lead them to comfort… it leads them to conflict.  After casting a spirit out of a young woman, they are beaten, falsely accused, and thrown into prison. Bound. Broken. Publicly humiliated. Yet at midnight… they pray.  And they don’t stop there—they praise. Not in freedom.  Not after the breakthrough.  But in the middle of the pain. And heaven responds. An earthquake shakes the prison. Doors open. Chains fall. But what makes this moment truly powerful isn’t the miracle—it’s the decision that follows. They don’t leave. In a moment where escape was possible, they stayed. And because they stayed, a jailer and his entire household were saved.
