Our Paper Got Lost in the Mail

Happy Juneteenth to all whom it applies! This week, hosts Bre and Grace dive into colorism and whether the concept of a "beauty standard" even exists. Can there be a true standard when beauty is fueled by ever changing trends? Can we as a society ever move past the effects of colorism when people continue to deny its historical existence? And most importantly, why are we constantly valuing black women by whether they are able to take up a lover in a society that does not love them back? This week dives into all of these questions and so much more! So tune in as your two favorite black girls discuss what life is like when your paper bag gets lost in the mail! Technology Disclaimer - This weeks episode had some microphone concerns so apologies for the distorted audio quality :/
