    BORN AGAIN or “JUST CHRISTIAN” - Which one are You?

    What does it truly mean to be born again? Can someone be born into a Christian family, raised in a Christian home, or attend a born-again church and automatically be considered born again? Is being a Christian different from being born again?In this episode, we go back to Scripture to examine Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus in John 3 and unpack what it means to be born again. We explore the relationship between spiritual rebirth, regeneration, and becoming a new creation through the work of the Holy Spirit.We tackle some important questions:1. What is the biblical meaning of being born again?2. ⁠Is being a Christian different from being born again?3. ⁠Can you inherit salvation from your parents or be born again simply because you belong to a Christian family?4. ⁠Can a church, denomination, or building be born again?5. ⁠Why are we spiritually dead because of the Fall, and what does it mean to receive a new heart?6. ⁠Why has the term born again lost its meaning in today's Church?7. ⁠If we are born again, what evidence should be visible in our lives?8. ⁠Can someone genuinely love God while continuing to delight in sin?9. ⁠How do we distinguish a genuine believer from someone who simply carries the Christian label?We examine Acts 11:26, Ezekiel 36:26, John 3, John 15, 1 Peter 1:3 and Colossians 3, among other Scriptures, to understand the transformation that takes place when God gives us new life.Being born again is not about family heritage, church attendance, religious titles, or outward appearances. It is about spiritual regeneration: God taking away the heart of stone and giving us a heart of flesh. It is about moving from death to life and becoming a new creation.And this new life should produce fruit! Just as a mango tree cannot produce grapes, a life transformed by Christ should increasingly reflect the character of Christ.     Questioning Christianity: A Conversation with an Atheist.

    In this different and thought-provoking conversation, we sit down with Joel Muhumuza, an atheist, to explore atheism, Christianity, faith, doubt, morality, authority, and the assumptions that shape how we understand God.We ask:1.     FRANK GASHUMBA VS. THE UGANDAN CHURCH: IS GOD AFRAID OF A CONTEST?

    Frank Gashumba challenged Ugandan pastors to prove their claims of performing miracles, questioning whether some church leaders are truly representing God or are “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” His remarks sparked criticism, anger, and insults from some believers.But what does the Church’s response reveal about our faith in God?In this episode, we ask some difficult questions:1.     DIVORCE: Why aren’t we Talking about it?

    In this episode, we examine whether we are building marriages on the foundation of the gospel or on rubble, and whether we have lowered God’s standard for marriage, designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church.We explore the covenant nature of marriage and Jesus’ teaching on divorce in Matthew 19. What does Scripture permit concerning divorce, and why are we expanding the boundaries of what is acceptable? Are we entering marriage expecting fulfilment rather than learning to love sacrificially? And can we build lasting, Christ-centred marriages without properly understanding the gospel?We also confront the Church’s silence on marital challenges.     IF GOD IS EVERYWHERE, WHY DO WE ASK HIM TO COME?

    Where is God when we sing, “Holy Spirit, come into this place”?In this conversation, we explore the omnipresence and omnipotence of God and ask whether some of the ways we speak and sing about God reveal a misunderstanding of who He is.Could our language about inviting the Holy Spirit into a room sometimes reflect the way African Traditional Religion understands spiritual beings—as powers that need to be invited or summoned into a particular space?If God created the world and is present throughout His creation, is He waiting for us to invite Him in? Or should our worship and prayer flow from the reality that He is already present?We also explore:1. If God is omnipresent, who needs to draw near to whom?2. ⁠If God is already with us, what does it mean to “enter His presence”?3. ⁠Are worship leaders actually leading worship, or are they leading us in songs?4. ⁠If worship only begins when the singing starts, what were we doing before then?5. ⁠What does spiritual mapping and “clearing the atmosphere” before a service communicate about our view of God and demons?6. ⁠If God is omnipotent, why do we pray?7. ⁠Why does God ordain prayer as part of accomplishing His purposes?8. ⁠Are we sometimes more fascinated by what God can give us than by His power to transform hearts and minds?9. ⁠What does it mean to live as a Christian throughout the entire week rather than only during church services?We reflect on passages such as Psalm 139, Acts 17 and Colossians 3:1–3 and consider what it means to live with an awareness that God is not confined to a building, a worship service, or a particular moment.The question may ultimately be less “Where is God?” and more “Where are we in our relationship with God?”If God is with us everywhere, then our ordinary work, relationships, conversations, decisions and daily lives can all be lived to the glory of God.God's power is not only demonstrated by what He can give us.     Holy Communion: More Than Just a Meal?

    Holy Communion is more than just a meal. It is a memorial and a spiritual participation that points us back to what Christ accomplished on the cross.In this episode, we explore the connection between Holy Communion and the Passover, and why remembering Jesus’ final sacrifice is central to the practice.We also deal with some important issues:• Is Holy Communion meant to heal our problems or give us what we want?• Does being “unholy” mean we should stay away from the table?• What does Scripture actually mean by taking Communion “in an unworthy manner”?• Is holiness the same as sinlessness?• Why must we examine our hearts before participating?• What is the role of the Holy Spirit’s conviction—and why should conviction lead us to repentance?We are reminded that our salvation is not based on our worthiness, but on God’s grace.     Is the Church your Pastor's other wife?

    Can ministry become an idol? Can a pastor be so devoted to the church that he neglects the very family God has entrusted to him? In this episode, we wrestle with one of the most uncomfortable but necessary conversations in Christian ministry: Who should be the priority in marriage?Many pastors and ministry leaders faithfully serve the church, yet their spouses and children often bear the cost of that service.
