    The year is 1914, and Europe is on the brink of a Great War. In England, a German spy named Von Bork is getting ready to leave the country with his massive dossier of intelligence, collected over the course of his four years undercover. Von Bork's compatriot, Baron von Herling, is impressed with the collection, and promises Von Bork a hero's welcome upon his return to Berlin. There's only one final task remaining: a delivery of British naval codes from Von Bork's informant, an American named Altamont. The stage is set for Holmes's most important mission yet.     The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax, Part 1

    Dr. Watson is feeling rheumatic, so it's the perfect cover for Sherlock Holmes to send him to Switzerland to investigate his latest case. The Lady Frances Carfax hasn't been seen for five weeks, and Holmes has been brought on to find out what happened to her. Since he can't leave London, it's up to Watson to begin the investigation, and he's off to Lausanne. Watson's investigation reveals a mysterious man was following Lady Frances, and that she left Switzerland in the company of the pious Dr. Shlessinger three weeks ago. Watson thinks Holmes couldn't have investigated better himself, but does Holmes agree?
