Have you noticed you’re more tired lately? Not just physically tired. Deep tired. The kind of tired that comes from constantly thinking, planning, anticipating, fixing, helping, producing, and trying to make sure nothing falls apart. For so many Latinas and women of color, we’ve learned how to be the strong one. We carry our families. We build careers and businesses. We manage the money, the relationships, the responsibilities, and somehow we’re also supposed to process everything happening in the world around us. And yes, that strength has gotten us far. But what if the version of strength that got you here is actually exhausting you now? In this episode, I talk about the deeper kind of exhaustion so many of us are experiencing and introduce the difference between the HORIZONTAL and the VERTICAL. I share why reconnecting with yourself, your intuition, your values, and your inner knowing can help you find your strength again. I talked about: Why we feel exhausted from constantly doing, achieving, and taking care of everyoneThe difference between living in the HORIZONTAL and connecting to the VERTICALWhy your nervous system wants evidence before you believe something is possibleHow to connect with the VERTICAL in every day lifeWhy action without connection to yourself can become exhaustion 3 Ways to Come Back to Your Strength 1. Spend more time in the VERTICAL. Give yourself at least 10 minutes every day to get quiet, step away from your phone and distractions, and connect with yourself. You can meditate, journal, focus on your breath, take a slower walk, listen to music, or pray. Ask yourself: Who do I get to be today? 2. Stop requiring evidence before you believe. Notice when your brain automatically asks, "Where's the proof that this is going to work?" Instead, practice believing in the possibility before you can see the path. Ask yourself: What possibility am I refusing to believe in because I can't see the path yet? 3. Choose one brave action. You don't have to figure everything out at once. Choose one small physical action that moves you forward. Make the call. Send the email. Apply for the position. Post the video. Register for the class. Have the conversation. Create the boundary. One action tells your nervous system: We're moving forward Your strength has always been there. You just haven't been looking for it in the VERTICAL as much. ✨ Join Me at Yes Mujer You Can Live If this episode spoke to you, I'd love to invite you to Yes Mujer You Can, my live event in Los Angeles on September 13, 2026.
