    Why Am I So Tired?!

As a black woman over 40, you might find yourself feeling more tired than before, and one significant reason for this fatigue can be attributed to changes happening within your body. During this stage of life, hormonal shifts, such as in menopause, can lead to sleep disturbances, depression, and mood swings, all of which can contribute to feelings of exhaustion. Additionally, age-related changes like decreased muscle mass and metabolism can result in reduced energy levels. Understanding these is essential in managing and addressing the tiredness that midlife Black women may experience.   In this episode, I share four reasons why you could be tired as a midlife Black woman. I talk about decision clutter, hormonal imbalance, dehydration, and too much clutter, period. I also share some things you could do to avoid being tired. Is Man Really the Head of Woman?

The Biblical concept of a man being considered the head of the woman is rooted in certain religious texts, particularly in Christian theology. Many proponents of this belief point to passages in the Bible, such as Ephesians 5:23, which states, "For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior." This interpretation suggests that just as Christ is the spiritual leader of the church, husbands are called to be the spiritual leaders of their wives.  In this episode, I am joined by Marlon Browne, the host of Straight Talk and the co-host of 2 Strong, to talk about the role of a man as the head of the woman. Marlon shares why he chose this topic, the difference between a man and a male, the role of a man as the head of the wife and the role of a woman in the household, and the difference between subservient and submission. He also shares some tips for women to find the right man to submit to and what a worshiping man looks like. Is Black Love Better Now Than Ever?

The state of Black relationships has been a topic of much discussion in recent years. One particular aspect that often goes unaddressed are black men, who are expected to be the sole providers for their families while also being held to a high financial standard to prove their worth as high-value men. Some black women have even neglected their traditional gender roles of appreciating their man and taking care of the family, leading to an imbalance in the dynamics of black relationships. In the black community, traditional gender roles have always played a significant role in the success of relationships. In this episode, I am joined by Marlon Browne, the host of Straight Talk and the co-host of 2 Strong, to talk about the state of black relationships right now. Marlon shares his thoughts on the “black female voice”, the origin that men should provide everything in a relationship, and the biggest cure of modern black relationships. He also talks about how the lack of traditional gender roles has affected modern black relationships and shares his thoughts on the concept of high-value men as defined by women. They have been lied to. So, you can be a trash human being, but as long as you are a female, you have something valuable, and I don’t think that is completely true.” “If your emphasis on a high-value man is continually on what you can get, it doesn’t matter how soft you are. You are still a punk.” “A high-value man is one that can increase your character, one that can improve you as a person and not a rich man.” “At the age of 40, your physical accomplishments should never trump your relationship accomplishments with God…" “Relationships are a God thing and not a man thing, so if you want it to function the right way, you go talk to the person who created the thing and tell you how to run it.” Connect with us: https://www.youtube.com/@straighttalkmb https://www.youtube.com/@2Strong-FAIRMEDIA https://www.alphanista.com/ https://www.facebook.com/Alphanista/ https://www.instagram.com/therealalphanista/
