Starting humbly as a barista in Chicago, he found himself in London 4 years later. He must have outgrown all the latte art competitions, brewers, and roasting cups. In 2012, he opened Quarter Horse with his wife. Sometimes, you need to be bored with accomplishments to come up with something even more fantastic!     Everyone sort of has an idea of how the corporate ladder looks like but how does a career revolving around coffee unravel itself? Izzy Austen is many things, she’s Izzy Austen naturally, who likes other things besides coffee, you know, like neighbourhood cats and photography! She’s also a caffeine gal and avid coffee sipper in a world of coffee bros. She runs Fuelled By Caffeine Mag, a creative outlet for the UK coffee scene, as well as Baristas On Tap where she connects highly skilled baristas to spare shifts across the specialty coffee industry.  But most of all, Izzy Austen is- her story, that paved the way for the path on which she finds herself today, with the help of none other than her granny who ingrained her immense love for coffee from an early age, when she would let her eat sugar sprinkled froth off her cappuccinos.
