The X Files: A Masterclass in Faith and Reason (Ep 10)

It's been a while! For this episode, I wrote an essay about the relationship between faith and reason and how incredibly well this dynamic is represented in the characters of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully from The X-Files. Another thing the show does so well is to separate the spiritual-supernatural phenomena from the extraterrestrial. I believe this reminder is more important now than ever. With all this "disclosure" hype in 2026, many people tend to confuse the spiritual with the extraterrestrial, looking for salvation now in metal-hovering crafts in the sky. Discussing Faith & Human Nature with AwakenOurWild (Ep 9)

It's been a while! I try not to make new episodes unless I actually get the chance to sit with the people I'm really interested in talking to. So here we are! Several months after my episode with Warren 😂 For this episode, I had the opportunity to talk to Karalynn from AwakenOurWild. Karalynn's channel is focused on "rewilding", which basically means learning to reconnect with our nature and basic human needs, which are often neglected in our modern environments, a.k.a. living in a box 24/7. Yuck! It was a pleasure talking with Karalynn! I was also able to talk with her about her beliefs and her journey with faith. I could tell from her videos that there is always that spirit searching for "what is out there" within her, although she tends to drift more towards the agnostic side at this point in her life. I am still very shy to disagree or debate much with my wonderful guests (who are often smarter than me) 🙈 but I was able to offer some counterpoints in the conversation, like how spirituality and faith are ALSO a part of our human nature (equally neglected by modern life) and how secularism is responsible for much of the destruction of the beauty in our world that she too wants to recover. Ep 8 - Warren Smith: Finding The Divine in Music and Film

I sat down to have one of my favorite conversations with Professor Warren Smith! Warren has an M.F.A. in filmmaking and has written, directed, and produced a handful of great short films and one feature-length film. He recently caught a lot of attention online due to his video in defence of J.K. Rowling, where he takes his student on a critical thinking exercise and completely shifts his perspective on the topic. We discussed: The importance of having good stories with heroes to look up to. His passion for filmmaking How the D.E.I (Diversity, equity, and inclusion) agenda hinders creativity and is one of the main reasons why so many terrible films are being produced today. Similarities between a cult and woke ideology. The patterns in art which point towards intelligent creation, and finding God through music and film. The soul and the human experience as spiritual beings. Some fun Harry Potter and Hogwarts shenanigans. Ep 5 - Leah Mychal: Catholicism and Extraterrestrial Life

Leah Mychal is one of the internet's most beloved Catholic influencers. She mainly thrives on Instagram as her main platform where she debates theological, philosophical, and sociological topics with her followers, and reviews various books written by both atheist authors and faith-based authors. I've been wanting to record this episode with Leah for a long time. As a hardcore science fiction lover and The X-Files fanatic, the topic of extraterrestrial life is one of my favorite things to talk about! There is one thing though that upsets me when the ET topic is being discussed in the media, which is when people, both atheists and theists alike, argue that contact with alien intelligence would undoubtedly mean the end of religious and spiritual beliefs. Atheists argue that ET intelligence would now explain all miraculous accounts in history and all supernatural phenomena ever recorded, while fundamentalist religious groups claim that these objects in the sky are not aliens but angels or demons. I think these ideas come from a misunderstanding of basic theological concepts, such as a proper definition of what God is, which is why I invited Leah to have a cozy conversation with me about these exciting concepts. Ep 3 - Sandra Rudzite "MissCoookiez": The Pursuit of Beauty and Truth

Sandra is widely known as a traditional artist for her unmistakable dark aesthetic paintings and videogame-inspired art. She has an education background in the Riga School of Design and Art, and The Art Academy of Latvia. Her works have been presented in various exhibitions across the world from California to Europe, and she's also been nominated as Artist of The Year in Latvia back in 2017. Sandra is also known for her analytical thinking and for engaging in deep conversations during her livestreams. Ep 2 - Mike TV: Grey's Anatomy, Outworlder, Launchpad, Songwriting & Artist Mental Health

I sat down to have an intimate and profound conversation with my old friend Mike TV from the band Get Set Go, whose songs have graced the screens of iconic television shows like Grey's Anatomy and Weeds, captivating millions of viewers across the globe. We talked about what it feels like to witness your own music in famous tv shows with millions of spectators. We spoke about the mental well-being of artists and aspiring musicians, and I asked him why emerging talents often struggle to recognize their own worth, while effortlessly recognizing the value of other musicians. We also talked about our songwriting philosophy: Are all songs already written? Where do songs come from? We touched base again on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, and why artists shouldn't be afraid of competing with it in the music market. I also asked Mike about his personal cosmovision and if he thinks we're here by chance or if we're part of a masterplan. It was an incredible honor and pleasure to sit down and have an intimate conversation with such a friendly spirit, a true artistic soul, and a professional songwriter with decades of rollercoaster experiences at the top of the rock and roll scene and the music industry.
