    Ah man...

    The Mandalorian and Grogu has officially hit a record (according to online publications) for the biggest Star Wars box office drop off in its second week. With about 70% of a dip, The Mandalorian and Grogu doesn't look like it will make it's money back, at least from the theatrical release. Merchandise and Disney Plus surely will cover the cost over time, however this doesn't seem to be a box office success, unnfortunately. I blame the previous direction that Kathleen Kennedy steered Star Wars and Lucasfilm in which led us to right here, apathy. Let's see how they can fix this issue going forwards. I want Star Wars to always win, and in order to do that, we must have stories that are meaningful and make you want to go see these films. We need concrete planning, outlines and story development. Not just disjointed-ness after the brilliant Mandalorian Season 2 finale.     This Shouldn't Happen

    The Mandalorian and Grogu got dethroned by a YouTuber's new movie called Obsession which has grossed 100M while costing 750k. I personally feel any Star Wars movie in theatres should never be dethroned by any other film. It's remarkable that people are responding well to independently made movies, just like George Lucas.     Cal Kestis is reportedly going to be with Luke on the big screen and I'm all for it. I think this is a really well developed character with lots of growth to explore.     The Mandalorian Luke Skywalker scene was heroic and true to Luke Skywalker. This creator (popdetective) claims it's the FAKE Luke Skywalker and the one in The Last Jedi was the REAL one.     Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 is rumored to be in the works now. I believe if they use the script and story from Stuart Beattie, they will knock it out of the park.     Well that explains it...The Mandalorian and Grogu DIVISION

    The Mandalorian and Grogu was made to put a movie out that stands alone and isn't tied to anything else in the overall story. That was the intention. I think it's fine, however to be the first film in 7 years after how Mandalorian Season 2 took us to such great heights, then crashed them in Season 3, then gave us this film, seems a bit of a pointless Star Wars roller coaster ride to me. I was fine with Mandalorian and Grogu, but I am tired of them making stuff that's so surface level. It's time to get into the lore, stay consistent, and make something really moving like George Lucas - THAT MATTERS to the overall story. We've gotten enough inconsequential stories, time to get something actually meaningful after the poorly planned Star Wars Sequel trilogy.
