If the thought of never having another cigarette fills you with panic, try to face up to the only alternative "Never being allowed to quit and being enslaved for eternity in the nicotine trap" See smoking for what it really is. A deadly, contagious, addictive disease that gets worse and worse and leads to a lifetime of misery and an early death. Have a smoke while reviewing these recap points. I wish you all the best on your journey to be free from the nicotine trap and I know you can do it, you already got this far, please also feel free to message me on my social media channels. 1. For the first few days to possibly first few months, you will have an inner saboteur that will work it's hardest to try and undermine your resolution and goals. Recognise this saboteur as the nicotine demon dying in it's death throes. You may feel disoriented for a while adjusting to the change, this is perfectly normal. 2. For the first 30 days your mind may completely think about nothing but smoking, this is normal and natural, after all you may have smoked for years or decades, it's not going to disappear instantly like that but it does get progressively better each day. There's nothing bad happening, it's a wonderful change that leads you to 100% freedom 3. It's what you are thinking that's crucial, if you are constantly thinking "I'm craving a cigarette but can't have one" instead of "I'm a non-smoker, I'm already free!" you'll feel great every time a pop up craving does occur 4. See smoking for what it really is, an unhealthy lifelong addiction to nicotine that can only be stopped if you identify cravings as just the nicotine demon in it's final stages of life 5. Smoking is the enemy, when an enemy disappears, you don't go through a period of mourning or heartbreak, instead you can immediately rejoice and move on with your life 6. Spend the next few days after your final cigarette exhilarated that you are now free from being enslaved. Rejoice in your decision to be free 7. Do not wait to become a non-smoker, you are already a non-smoker the moment you extinguished that final cigarette. Do not wait for baited breath for a moment you feel like a non-smoker, it will never come because you are already a non-smoker. 8. You will enjoy social occasions more 9. You will be able to better concentrate and find solutions to stress and boredom that don't involve puffing on cigarettes 10. Understand the only difference between smokers and non-smokers is that non-smokers have no desire to smoke a single cigarette, Accept that for the first few days you may misinterpret the nicotine demon dying as "I want a cigarette" instead of "Hooray the demon is dying" but please do not give in to smoking, this is short and temporary and the time will fly past quick 11. Do not avoid social situations that feature other smokers. Relish in your ability to refrain from partaking in smoking and showing others how powerful the new you is 12. Willpower does not work, never go down this method. There is no willpower to be used when quitting, change your frame of thinking to understand that taking up smoking again requires willpower 13. No smoker ever enjoys smoking, you are freeing yourself form your addiction to nicotine #onelastcigarette #quitsmoking #selfhelp #smoke #cigarette #nicabate #nicorette #allencarr #justinmatters #vaping #hypnosis #quit #tobacco

Check out The Complete Guide to Horror ↪ YouTube: @completeguidetohorror ↪ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@completeguidetohorror There is no sacrifice when beating our nicotine addictions! There is nothing to give up! The most common reason that smokers give for quitting is health followed by money however finances are an afterthought for some. Health and money were the reasons I wanted to quit. It never dawned on me that I should have quit because I was addicted to a drug. I knew personally that my regular bouts of asthma, coughing and sleep apnoea were directly related to smoking but I avoided linking them to my addiction. Now that I'm free, I have much better breathing, more money and no longer suffer from bouts of asthma or coughing. I relied on a preventor medication alongside ventalin and due to other factors like my weight gain from years of smoking, I was at risk of needing a sleep apnoea machine. The increased savings in my wallet and increased signs of physical health were just some of the gains I accrued once I became a non-smoker. What surprised me the most was the sudden boost of energy I received too, it permanently pulled me out of my lethargic state which I had for years because of smoking. A few days after quitting I felt a moment of revelation, I was going to be just fine. It dawned on me that even though I might experience the odd craving every now and then, I knew I would never go back to smoking. A few weeks later I had another moment of revelation, I had spent my early 20s defending my right to kill myself through smoking that I didn't realise non-smokers never had this stupid idea. It never really occurred to me that non-smokers never have to worry about whether this restaurant or office or hotel or building or social circle would allow for me to smoke without judgement. A few months after quitting I realised the second biggest gain that came from quitting was to be free of all the self hatred and gaining back my self esteem and confidence. We know as smokers that we fell into an evil trap and waste shitloads of money to fuel our addictions. Now that I'm free, it's my mission to spread the good news to help other smokers beat their addictions. I cannot begin to describe how it feels to have freedom, confidence, power and control back in my life. when you too become free, you'll look at other smokers not with envy or desire but with pity. Pity that they haven't found the key yet to escape from the nicotine trap. It's not a sense of superiority but a sense of genuine reflection. Another gain that occurred around the two year mark after was the resulting weight loss. As my previous lethargy lifted, I had more energy and time for regular things that non-smokers do like healthy eating, exercise and keeping up with a social life. I lost 20kg and now enjoy my life for all the genuine highs and lows that it is. I now have the joy of living back and no cigarette can tempt me back into becoming enslaved in the nicotine trap again. You'll have similar and different revelations than me and at differing time periods too. It's part of the reflective process when you realise you are freeing yourself from the nicotine trap. With that in mind, continue to the next episode on the final instructions and again feel free to light up a cigarette, #onelastcigarette #quitsmoking #selfhelp #smoke #cigarette #nicabate #nicorette #allencarr #justinmatters #vaping #hypnosis #quit #tobacco

#27 - To Vape? Or Not to Vape? | #OneLastCigarette

Send me a tip via PayPal! notanotherwhitegay@gmail.com Follow me on social media ↪ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@justinmatters.mp4 ↪ Instagram: https://instagram.com/justinmatters.mp4 ↪ Linktree: https://linktr.ee/justinmatters Read the study by Mehmet Kesimer here; https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/10/171020105346.htm One hipster trend that has taken off in recent years are the electronic cigarettes or "vapes". These tools allow you to recharge a battery, fill a tiny pen like substance with flavoured liquid and breathe in and out vapour. There are also disposable vapes on the rise with promises of 6000 puffs but these devices are now just as costly as cigarettes and in Australia, it's unclear whether many of these vapes contain nicotine. It's also a tool commonly associated with helping younger people ditch cigarettes but is it safer than cigarettes? No. Mehmet Kesimer, PhD, senior author and associate professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the UNC School of Medicine, and co-authors report findings from what is believed to be the first study of the harmful effects of e-cigarettes using sputum samples from human lungs. "There is confusion about whether e-cigarettes are 'safer' than cigarettes because the potential adverse effects of e-cigarettes are only beginning to be studied," said Kesimer, who is also a member of the UNC Marsico Lung Institute. "This study looked at possible biomarkers of harm in the lungs. And our results suggest that in some ways using e-cigarettes could be just as bad as smoking cigarettes." A 2016 Surgeon General's report found that e-cigarette use has increased by 900 percent among high school students from 2011 to 2015. Also in 2016, the Food and Drug Administration extended its regulatory oversight of tobacco products to include e-cigarettes. The study compared sputum samples from 15 e-cigarette users, 14 current cigarette smokers and 15 non-smokers. Study limitations include the fact that of the 15 e-cigarette users, five said they occasionally smoked cigarettes and 12 identified themselves as having smoked cigarettes in the past. "Comparing the harm of e-cigarettes with cigarettes is a little like comparing apples to oranges," Kesimer said. "Our data shows that e-cigarettes have a signature of harm in the lung that is both similar to what we see in cigarette smokers and unique in other ways." This research challenges the concept that switching to e-cigarettes is a healthier alternative. So while you may have the best intentions in trying something else to erase your addiction to cigarettes, you are only sabotaging yourself and your lungs further. All substitutes make it harder to quit and all substitutes are wastes of money and bigger wastes of time. Why put yourself through all the pain and misery and ghastly costs of substitutes when we're about to dispel the last two illusions of smoking "is it necessary to suffer from withdrawal symptoms when quitting?" "Is it difficult to quit?" No but before we delve into those illusions, let's discuss the incredible pleasure of being a non-smoker in the next episode. #onelastcigarette #quitsmoking #selfhelp #smoke #cigarette #nicabate #nicorette #allencarr #justinmatters #vaping #hypnosis #quit #tobacco

I hate everything from patches to sprays to hypnosis to gum to hotlines because I've tried them all and none of them ever effectively worked for me. Hotlines are a terrific way to lie to a stranger on the phone about how your quitting process is going. The most damaging and common substitutes for assisting in quitting involve nicotine. All nicotine replacement therapies are utter horseshit. All nicotine substitute products have large marketing campaigns, TV advertising and the support of government officials. Why? For one, the government officials are uneducated and two these nicotine products are legal. When you have attempted to quit previously, you are being told in order to be successful, you have two powerful enemies to defeat: 1. To break the smoking habit 2. To survive the terrible, horrifying withdrawal symptoms. These are designed to keep you enslaved on quit smoking substitutes. These 'two powerful enemies' that are programmed into our minds by the quit smoking industry revolve around impossible goals to reach as they rely exclusively on willpower. The theory is that because these two powerful enemies cannot be taken on at once, you have to keep ingesting nicotine in a form other than smoking and then once the smoking habit is broken, you have to survive the horrible withdrawal symptoms. But wait a minute! We've already established that both these powerful enemies are b******t. Smoking isn't a habit, it's an addiction and the physical withdrawal symptoms are so slight, we don't even perceive them. Our mental withdrawal symptoms are torture if we use the willpower method which these substitutes want you to use and only use. You cannot beat a nicotine addiction by continuing to use nicotine You cannot survive withdrawal symptoms through willpower If these companies were intelligent of any kind they would provide you a similar program like mine so you remove the desire to smoke and understand that your nicotine addiction is a drug addiction. Yet all these companies seem to have the same 'magic solution' that costs lots of money and have varying lengths of withdrawal periods with terrible side effects including vomiting, nausea, depression, hiccups and weight gain. I want you to light up a cigarette if you are not smoking one currently and think about how you would feel if instead of a cigarette, you instead had to take a pill or spray your mouth every time you had a craving. Do you feel better? No? Of course not. Don't be fooled by vested commercial interests. Nicotine replacement therapy has been a common practice for over 30 years yet if it was the magical solution it claims to be, why do most participants revert back to smoking? Because NRT is f*****g stupid. NRT continues to feed the nicotine demon and keeps your mind warped. It also prolongs the brainwashing monster by making you feel worthless and enslaving you, it appears to make cigarettes 10x more precious than they used to. #onelastcigarette #quitsmoking #selfhelp #smoke #cigarette #nicabate #nicorette #allencarr #justinmatters #vaping #hypnosis #quit #tobacco

Cigarettes make you lethargic, lazy and overweight. When we have attempted to quit numerous times, our first thought is to substitute cigarettes for little rewards like sweets, chocolates or our favourite fast food meals. During my first attempt at quitting with the willpower method, I kept a stash of snacks in my work drawer filled to the brim with chips, gummy bears, chocolates and sour straps. I figured if I craved cigarettes I would replace these cravings with my sweet tooth. It only lead to terrible eating habits when I tried to quit and even more terrible eating disorders when I resumed smoking due to the shame I felt from not being able to quit. A smoker will go 8 - 10 hours without smoking so the first one in the morning is our 'special' cigarette. So special that it causes us to cough, splutter and choke. It's also unsurprisingly the cigarette that tastes the absolute worst. We confuse our hunger and thirst constantly for another need for that ritualistic cigarette in the morning continuing yet another vicious cycle that keeps us enslaved. Although the feeling of the cruel nicotine demon is identical to hunger pangs, nicotine will never relieve a craving for food or vice-versa. During my peak addiction I skipped breakfast in favour of relieving my drug addled brain with cigarettes, foolishly believing I had solved my hunger pangs at the same time. Any smoker knows that if you are short of money and it's a choice between food or cigarettes, the clear winner is cigarettes each and every time. As I got out of the habit of eating breakfast, I started to forgo lunch too. Often at work I would be questioned as to why I would be found out the back smoking on my lunch breaks instead of joining friends for lunch. Truthfully, I couldn't afford both, sure I could just bring food from home but where was the time in between my 20 cigarettes a day? I laugh at it now but back then I simply had no time for anything or anybody else. Relationships suffered as a result as did my work life which sent my weight spiralling into over 125kg. I was a chain smoker that was 45kg overweight, stinking of tobacco and constantly stressed at losing my sanity and my life to nicotine addiction without realising so. Nicotine like all drugs have the same insidious subtle trick, with one difference. Once you understand the illusion of confidence it becomes significantly easier to quit. As we use substitutes like sweets to aid us in quitting, we are sabotaging our efforts, but weight is no the only substitute that is false. All substitutes make it harder to quit and we explore this in the next video. #onelastcigarette #quitsmoking #selfhelp #smoke #cigarette #nicabate #nicorette #allencarr #justinmatters #vaping #hypnosis #quit #tobacco

It's b******t. Smoking does not relieve stress or aid concentration or relieve boredom, to do so would cancel each other out rendering it ineffective. There are many tools to help aid concentration and relieve boredom and stress that don't involve breathing dangerous fumes into our lungs at a hefty cost. Physically and mentally dominant types of people take on more stress and responsibility hence why they are more likely to become more heavy smokers because they've been fed into the nicotine trap. Casual smokers tend to have less stress in their lives, hence why many younger people remain as casual smokers longer than more adult types until they go through the true rituals of being in your 20's and becoming a proper responsible adult with bills to pay. While we have changing responsibilities and levels of stress as we take on new jobs, start a family and suffer from heartbreak and life changes, there is no such thing as an addictive personality. It's just another flimsy excuse we use to self medicate our failed attempts at quitting. No one chooses to become hooked on drugs and we don't get hooked because of 'addictive personalities. It would be like saying people who get attacked by sharks while surfing have 'shark attack personalities'. It's an incredible coincidence that the only people who believe they have addictive personalities are people who become to drugs. It's the drug that addicts you, not your personality. Nicotine is why we're addicted to smoking and I've said this many times throughout the program. Now that you understand addictive personalities are b******t, in the next episode, let's tackle a common excuse smokers use to avoid quitting. weight gain. #onelastcigarette #quitsmoking #selfhelp #smoke #cigarette #nicabate #nicorette #allencarr #justinmatters #vaping #hypnosis #quit #tobacco
