Andy & Ari On3

The content is top tier 5/5, the reason for 3 stars is the absurd level of ads that have come about in this podcast, every On3 podcast, and overall the entire CFB industry. The first 5 minutes of the pod are entirely ads, spamming the 30 second skip until I reach the actual content. Mid show is a nonstop bombardment of Polymarket, Rhoback, Jack and Coke and whatever else, it has become completely ludicrous. I understand and support leveraging your reach and success to make a dollar but it feels like the consumer has been completely shafted by the new mainstream presentation, and then we get told to like, subscribe, and write a review because that’s what keeps the show free from a paywall, depends how free is defined when a listener is thrown into a warzone of 15 minute ad reads in a 60 minute segment. Love the show, hate the ads.

I listen to this show, and the college football enquirer by yahoo sports, which Andy staples is also a part of, and I have never heard someone interrupt their cohosts as much as Andy staples does. Ari can be mid sentences and Andy will just start completely talking over him. It is wildly annoying, wait to get your point out. I shouldn’t be listening to a podcast about college football and getting annoyed by it because this man needs to hear himself speak more than anyone else.

Decent show, however, I’ve never heard so many ad’s in my life. It’s like 40% ad’s, 60% ball

A little bit of the old Mike and Mike (ESPN) style “what makes them different makes them great”. Good content and daily delivery you can depend on. Very knowledgeable about college football. The only con is massive- feels like half of the show is Ads and lengthy ad reads and there are so many different ones that it’s hard to even support thee companies they are pushing. All about making money and getting paid but there is a point of pushing it and this show does it. If they cut that down by 50% and I’ll happy support a paid tier or less but more effective ads.
