    Trusting God

    One of the hardest things I think we can ever encounter in this life is trusting God fully with our lives. Trusting God isn’t necessarily easy but very much necessary for our complete surrender. Letting go of our controls and fears, acknowledged or not, to fully trust Him and show up despite what the circumstances around us look like. Can you trust Him? Do you trust Him? When things are good it’s easy to trust because it doesn’t force our tension but what happens when things aren’t good? What happens when someone you love is sick? Or your money is funny and your change is strange? What about your next big decision that can be detrimental in life? What happens when something doesn’t look or feel right? This episode is all about those exact things… what happens when we feel it because we will? How do we trust through it?

    Trust The Outcome

    A lot of times our proof on who God is and what He says depends on the outcome we see. What if your outcome looks different than what you would have like it to but God knew the plan and purpose behind it? In this episode, I speak on my graduation and how for me I felt unqualified to be a therapist because of my divorce but what God revealed to me was bigger than me and the divorce. God didn’t change His mind about my purpose because I went through a divorce. I had purpose before getting married. Often we think we’re loosing out on what God had clearly already given us before entering the situation. Favorable situations aren’t always situations that look how you want them to look. Sometimes favor looks like a divorce that you didn’t die in, a relationship that you overcame, a rejection that didn’t strip away the value that was previously placed. Can you see favorable situations in your life with unfavorable looking outcomes? I dare you to go back and observe again and see how God worked in that situation.

    Embracing Your Single Season

    Are you navigating the season of singleness and it’s got you feeling unworthy and unloved? I know a lot people put a lot of emphasis on new year resolutions and focusing on the external work… bodies, jobs, careers, etc but what if you focused this year on doing the necessary internal work to become the best version of yourself. I challenged you to not just focus on the outside but the inside which matters the most.
