    15th Sunday in Ordinary time (A)

    Welcome to our first episode of first thoughts. Where we (husband and wife and parents to four kids, who happen to be an RE teacher and Catholic Youth worker come parish administrator) discuss our first thoughts on the upcoming Sundays Gospel reading..this week it's the parable of the sower. This is not preaching..just us having a chat as we explore the messages that come to us as we reflect and pray, in preparation for creating the children's church resources which go out to our parish and other parishes through the diocese. This week we talk about - how wonderful it would be to sit and listen to Jesus at the beach - producing at different rates - what the rocks and weeds could be - the invitation to intentionally and prayerfully listen to Jesus!
