The Power of Words and Belief.

In a day where we are bombarded with words, whether they be spoken, texted or typed on social media, we need to hear the right words. Far too many of us hear or read only the negative words. The power of belief in someone is incredibly powerful and extremely critical today as well. In today's episode, I talk about personal examples of the power of words and belief.

    Impact of a life lost.

Today's episode is what I call the "Friday Huddle" because it is the last Friday of the month. The Friday Huddle is my monthly episode where I talk about topics that are little bit harder to talk about or topics that make us question some of the things we are taught or told. Today's episode takes a closer look at teen suicide. It starts with a letter written by a graduating senior at Eagle Vail High School in Vail, CO. I then go into some personal experiences with the topic.

    Teacher Burnout

On today's episode, I would like to talk about the reasons why teachers are leaving the profession in droves. The reasons why teachers are leaving the profession are plentiful but there are a few main reasons that most educators share as to why they can't handle teaching any longer. From teacher pay to increased workload, to student apathy and discipline issues. I'll cover those topics and share some astounding statistics showing why the teaching field is in crisis mode.
