    Two Friends Talking ...

    I might have mentioned previously that here at Human By Design we are changing it up. But before I get to what this is about - sincere apologies to Andy Sylvester. Back in the middle of September when we recorded this I told him that I’d ‘have it published in a couple of days’. Turns out it took me over 6 weeks - good news being that it was at least ‘elapsed time’ - not ‘time spent’. No specific subject matter - experimenting just with conversation - to see where it went. All over the place (in a good way). Unplanned - but it naturally dropped into two halves * part one found us talking about what we have been doing in the world of IndieWeb * part two - because really how could we not … AI … leaving ‘opining’ to the rest of the blogosphere. This more how a couple of chaps just use it, Through it all, a few names kept popping up: * Manton Reece, creator of Micro.blog * Dave Winer, a pioneer of RSS, blogging, and podcasting and - possibly a new name to you - * Ricardo Mendes, whose work I’m enjoying as he takes some of Dave’s ideas in a direction I am really liking. Final Note In the podcast I mentioned another podcast experiment that Andy and I did a while back now - I called it a ‘Convocast’. the first episode that Any took the lead on was rather originally called ‘Convocast - Episode 1’ - which ultimately spun out to another 18 episodes - each around the 5 to 7 minute mark. They are all housed in a sister site called Sounds.Philpin.Com - where you also find some Snicklecasts, Microcasts and Storycasts - I know - names that aren’t exactly ‘industry standard’ but do I care?
