Someone has to say it — Pooya’s excessive talking makes this podcast unbearable. It’s like 80% of the episode is him explaining things we just saw or heard, and then repeating comments his guests or co-podcasters made, and we barely hear them. I seriously started hitting skip when he was talking, but it’s minutes of him just going on and on.
For someone who's never played, he sure has a lot to say, but it often comes off as surface-level or uninformed. Pooya's "hot takes" are just recycled opinions, adding little to the conversation.
He also constantly makes references to other versions of Traitors, dropping spoilers all over the place, which is inconsiderate, lazy, and just plain stupid.
The podcast is longer than the actual show. This could easily be condensed into under 30 minutes, but instead, it’s a lot of rambling and over-explaining. Most people who tune in are definitely multi-tasking or just using it as background noise while they do their chores. It should be a conversation, not a monologue. It’s become more frustrating than enjoyable, so I’m tapping out.
