    On the December 8th, 2025 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, hosts Chuck Freeby and Angelo Di Carlo look at the end of the Notre Dame football season as the Irish are snubbed from the College Football Playoffs and then declined a bid to a non playoff bowl game. In segment 1, we look at Notre Dame not making it into the College Football Playoffs, why that happened and how ridiculous the process was from the CFP committee. In segment 2, we discuss Notre Dame's decision to not accept an invitation to a non playoff bowl game. Was it that right choice and what are the ramifications? In segment 3, we look at the College Football Playoff and give our predictions on who will win the national championship. In segment 4, we look ahead to 2026 for the Irish. This is our final show of the season.     After 10 straight wins, will Notre Dame make the College Football Playoff?

    On the December 1st, 2025 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, hosts Chuck Freeby and Angelo Di Carlo look at where Notre Dame stands after 10 straight wins to close out the regular season following the win over Stanford. In segment 1, we discuss whether the Irish left a good final impression on the playoff committee. We also dive into all the scenarios for the College Football Playoff and ways that Notre Dame can be assured a playoff spot and ways that might put the Irish in a spot to not make the playoff. In segment 2, we look at the good and bad coming out of the game at Stanford. The bad was Jeremiyah Love's injury. The good was pretty much everything else. We also give our grades position by position after the regular season. In segment 3, we look at how the faith of the Irish has impacted the culture of the football program as we have from a number of different Irish players.     Tim Prister Reflects on Covering 500 Notre Dame Games in Person

    No one has covered more Notre Dame football games in person than Irish Illustrated's Tim Prister. The Boise State game earlier this year marked the 500th game Prister has covered in person spanning an incredible 44 years on the Notre Dame beat. On the November 3rd, 2025 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, host Angelo Di Carlo interviews Prister about his incredible accomplishment and career. Tim reflects on his 'Notre Dame record', his favorite stadiums he's been to , road trips that have stood out and places he still hopes to get to before he retires. At one point, Prister attended 394 straight Notre Dame games. That ended in 2017 when he had a heart attack while picking up his credential before a Notre Dame home game. Tim was in the right place at the right time and was brought back to life by Notre Dame fire that happened to be steps away from him when he went to the ground. Tim reflects on that life changing moment and how his faith has been strengthened having gone through that experience.
