My grandmother passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 100 (coincidentally on my 40th birthday), and although we were close, we only saw each other every few years since she lived in France and I in Texas. She was a well trained classical pianist and gave me many of her old sheet music and manuscripts as she stopped playing into her old age. I wish I could have chronicled our conversations of her youth, her family, her music studies, and her life, so that I could have gained some wisdom and perspective from her as I aged. This podcast is dedicated to you, Grand Maman Fischer.

Mike Hipp, a firefighter for the city of Dallas & weapons expert, and I explore the looming threat of a modern civil war in America. We address issues that are causing massive political division in our country like election integrity, immigration, gun control, abortion, and economic instability. We discuss the scenarios that could ignite a civil war, from government overreach to energy grid collapse, and how social media has played a critical role in deepening the divide. We also dive into the steps you can take to prepare for a potential breakdown of society—covering everything from essential survival skills and tactical training to stockpiling resources and forming community defense groups. 00:00 Intro 00:12 Is America headed for Civil War 04:33 Why are we so politically divided? 07:03 Social Media: The Biggest Culprit of Political Division 20:19 3 Scenarios Of What Civil War Could Look Like 23:01 The 2 Most Divisive Political Issues: Abortion & Gun Rights 31:14 Ceding Power Back To The States 33:57 Immigration 35:24 What If Trump Was Assassinated? 38:00 Inflation, the Debt Bubble, & Collapse of The US Dollar 48:20 Natural Disasters & Collapse of The Power Grid 51:48 Martial Law & The Covid Pandemic 52:50 The Public Distrust Of The Government 55:14 Survival Prep For Civil War 1:08:44 Most Important Skills To Learn 1:15:50 Ways of Communication 1:18:45 Recap: Most Important Things Needed To Survive 1:19:18 Training Is Paramount 1:21:58 Outro
