    On today's episode we have the multi-talented Ivan Castro. Ivan is a Producer, Engineer, Singer, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist, Music Educator and does so much more. He also owns and operates Ecuasound Studios, a private state of the art production/recording studio located in Hollywood, Ca. We sit and chat as Ivan takes us on a ride all the way back to when he was a kid growing up in Ecuador and how he got inspired to do music, all the way up to today and some of the many obstacles he faced there and the challenges he overcame on his journey to the US. We highlight a few of his achievements and chat about how he was able to tackle those obstacles by working hard, taking advantage of opportunities, keeping a positive attitude and practicing his craft consistently, having fun all along the way! I met Ivan and his musical family back in 2016 when his Daughter Gabby joined Kids Rock Studio Rock For Charity Events at the historic Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip in WeHo, California. Gabby played in a violin trio that consisted of herself, another student Bella and violin teacher Sandra, who is Ivan's Wife. This trio rocked out with the house band playing AC/DC loud and proud in front of a standing room only packed crowd!     Scoonie Gee Daily Dose Podcast episode 6 guest Alyssad

    On today's episode we have singer, songwriter, guitarist, model and actress Alyssad, who we met back in 2014. She joined our Kids Rock Studio program and dived in right away recording songs in our studio on her first visit and then later performing at our live showcase events at The Rainbow Bar and Grill and Cabo Wabo Cantina Hollywood. From day 1 we never once saw her express any fears or doubts about her talent and abilities. She tackled it all seriously with a smile and a laugh. Her calm and warm demeanor is a constant just as much as her determination and drive to succeed in all she does. An over achiever by nature she has the loving guidance of her family, especially her Mom Bonnie, who makes a cameo here, who also serves as her Manager. Mom is not your typical overbearing "stage Mom" as she tends to stay in the background and let Alyssa do her thing. They have found the delicate balance between offering support and staying out of the way also by not forcing anything on each other. Hear them both speak on this loving and successful formula that they have found that works well for them and hopefully their testimony can inspire others to follow their lead. It's a family affair!
