I very much enjoy the recent episodes with Chris Riley and Sharon Bennett Connolly

Just listened to the “If it Ain’t Baroque…” history podcast for the first time. In the episode, the co-hosts interviewed historian Jonathan North about his book “Napoleon’s Invasion of Egypt: An Eyewitness History.” I’ve read several works on Napoleon in Egypt, which typically focus on Napoleon and his group of savants. However, North’s book offers a unique perspective by focusing on Napoleon’s soldiers, providing a more common man’s view. The co-hosts’ questions were direct and poignant, making the podcast both informative and entertaining. I’ve added it to my Follow list and will definitely be diving into the back catalogue and future episodes.
