I often catch myself responding to things my sons and husband say with that’s for sure. With simple things like, “hey mom, I’m getting super tall” or “it’s sooooooo hot out today.” That’s for sure. And the more I’ve said it over the years, the more I realized that many of us crave a life of certainty. It’s out of this that this podcast was born. I have so much to learn about living anchored and tethered to Jesus and I cannot wait to have conversations with folks who are in their lane and doing their thing.

    Episode 27 - Jim Farmer

    On today’s episode, Carrie Ellen is joined by Jim Farmer.  Jim Farmer is the Vice President of Training, Programs, and HR for For The Children, a nonprofit dedicated to serving children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment through mentoring and camp programs across the United States and internationally.  Jim has spent his career helping organizations develop people and culture through training, leadership development, and volunteer engagement. Prior to joining For The Children, he held learning and development leadership roles with organizations including The Walt Disney Company, SCAN Health Plan, and MUFG Americas, where he focused on building strong teams and service-driven cultures.  In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Jim leads JFarmer Consulting, where he works with organizations to develop leaders, strengthen workplace culture, and design engaging training experiences.  Jim is passionate about equipping volunteers and leaders to create life-changing moments for others.
