Look who is coming for dinner! is a podcast hosted by Bob Trigg from his studio on the Central coast of NSW, Australia. Guests are invited to choose 5 (five) musicians who they would like to invite over for dinner at their house. The 5 musicians can be from ANY period of time (eg from Mozart - a member of Metallica), or even from a movie or cartoon (eg Elwood Blues or Bleedin' Gums Murphy…) Basically, the guest can choose the 5 musos who they would love to have a dinner with, and along the way they get to tell why they chose each guest, what they plan to serve the guests, who will be sitting next to who etc…sounds FABULOUS!!!

    Ep. 52 of the LWICFD! podcast features wildlife veterinarian, analog film photographer, podcaster and author Dr. César Puechmarin 💥📷 🦅 I first heard about César during my interview with Luke Henery (ep. 43 - check it out!) where Luke told me about César's awesome "Death by Birding" Podcast (check it out too! It's rad, as is his other podcast "Every Animal Ever"  ) You'll have to excuse my fan-boying but we have one of my all time favourite chats (🚨with a smidge of ranting thrown in🚨) about many varied subjects ranging from potential right-wing Koalas who may have Chlamydia  🐨, to AI robots that can compose a song from just a simple hum (f@ck you Suno 🖕🏼).     Well hello & welcome to ep. 49 of the LWICFD! Podcast. It's been a minute (I was enjoying the summer 🏝️) so without anymore mucking around my guest for your ear holes is Rob Nassif! 💥 I met Rob over 20yrs ago when he was smashing drums in a band called Gyroscope. Many moons ago I was lucky enough to be invited to tour with Gyros for a few laps of the country as their sound engineer & tour manager and it was very good times! Podcast we have my brother from another mother…Tim "Westy" West  💥🥳  Back in the day Westy was the maddog playing bass in legendary Cenny Coast thrash metal band FROZEN DOBERMAN who did heaps of rad sh!t in their career including supporting Sepultura, Motörhead & METALLICA!!     This episode of the LWICFD! Podcast stars the one and only Jonboy Rock! If you've ever been at a show by Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun, Jet, Wolfmother or Regurgitator to name but a few, JBR was probably out the front making them sound good and loud for your earholes.     EP. 46 - BEN ELLINGWORTH (DRUMMER // Gflip / Illy / Peking Duk / Tilly Fenton / mm9)

    On this episode we have a 🔥🔥🔥 drummer called Ben Ellingworth. I first met Ben when he was working in the Billy Hydes music equipment rental place in Sydney and drumming in this sik band called mm9 who played a lot at a venue I worked at called the Annandale and then one time they came on a national tour as the main support act for this other band I was tour managing called Karnivool (this tour is definitely in my top 5 tours of my whole career.) 15 years after that tour and Ben is now playing drums with Gflip touring this mega tour with G pretty much since covid ended and G blew up all over the world - and its still going! Along the way Ben also worked with many other bands eg Illy and Peking Duk and is also working with an emerging artist called Tilly Fenton, but what I love about this tho is way back on that 'vool tour and when I saw Ben at the Billy Hyde's he would always be super friendly but always tell me that he was gonna be playing massive stages one day and now he is and I am so stoked for him b/c he is the nicest dude, he absolutely loves drums and drumming so he is doing what he has always dreamed of which I find really inspiring. Plus he fecking rips on the drums and is just awesome to watch - links in the shownotes. Gflip just released a new album called "The Dream Ride" and is on tour right now - currently in the USA and Canada then over to the UK and then Australia in late feb / march 2026 - tickets are on sale now.
