Episode #1: Mariachi with Ramón Rivera

In our first episode of the pBone Podcast, we are joined by Mariachi Director and 2023 WA State Music Teacher of the Year, Ramón Rivera. Ramón is a passionate advocate for teaching Mariachi in the United States, travelling across the country to show educators the benefits that a Mariachi band program can bring. His mission is that children get to experience all kinds of music: "from Mozart to Mariachi". There's no better time to kickstart Mariachi in the classroom, with Hispanic Heritage Month celebrated in the US between September 15 and October 15. For free resources, Hispanic Heritage Month posters, playlists, sheet music, articles, and more, head to https://content.pbone.co.uk/hispanicheritagemonth.
