Neal Goodson (Pastor of Families & Discipleship) has his family join him to have a little fun and talk about the Bible. These recorded Family Huddle Times are an example of how this can look for your family. Family Huddles do not have to be long, drawn out, structured times. They may sometimes be a little chaotic, but they also can be simple, fairly short, fun experiences where you are intentional as a family to read God's Word and discuss how it should shape our lives. This podcast is an example of how a Family Huddle Time can look for your family. These times will look different for every family, they will be feel different each time you do it, and elements will change as your family goes through various cycles of life. The important part isn't that you had an intense 30-45 minute class, that the time looked like a church service, or that your family avoided distractions and bad behavior. The important part is that you intentionally build a consistent habit of talking to your kids about God, His Word, and His plans for us.
