A show that aims at investigating a topic personal to someone in hopes of growing in the idea together.  In today's episode, we will be conversing with Elmer! He is a Spanish teacher in the public school system and today we discuss teaching! Specifically, why foreign language studies can be important, the threat native languages face due to lingua francas dominating society, and the role censorship may be playing in education. This idea takes us to the role of teachers in teaching on topics dealing with political and religious sentiments, like transgenderism, religion, and death. We end our discussion on gun violence in public schools. We really dig deep on everything so I hope you leave our convo with something to think about!     The Dialectic: Virginia- What is love, banning books, and can you be a moderate in America?

    Welcome to another installment of the dialectic series! A show that aims at investigating a topic personal to someone in hopes to grow in the idea together.  On today's episode, we converse with Virginia! She is currently working as a manager at a popular restaurant but her dream is to be a writer. In this episode, we get into the philosophy of emotions, discussing what is love. We move towards the idea of censorship and what books should or shouldn’t be banned. We end our discussion with a talk on whether one can be a moderate in politics, where I go on a rant about politics as a social framing device.     The Dialectic: Mark- Is religion based in ignorance and how Catholicism and politics intersect?

    Welcome to another installment of the dialectic series! A show that aims at investigating a topic personal to someone in hopes of growing in the idea together.  On today's episode, we converse with Mark! He is currently going to school for a bachelor's in liberal arts but wants to eventually become a catholic theologian. On this week's show, we investigate the idea of religion being based on ignorance. We then converse on the intersection of faith and politics going into the distinction between American conservatism and traditional conservatism. We briefly argue about Mark's thoughts on transgenderism and end on discussion questioning if modern art is beautiful. It’s a loaded episode today but I hope you all enjoy it!     The Dialectic: Brandon- Who Should get credit for creating music and is religion based in ignorance?

    Welcome to another installment of the dialectic series! This show aims at investigating a topic personal to someone in hopes of growing in the idea together. On today's episode, I will be interviewing Brandon! He is currently working towards a job in IT but has the dream job of making music as a producer. He actually produced our intro and outro songs! Today we discuss the harms of the music industry, specifically how crediting may harm artists and what we consider good music. We end our episode with a deep dive into religion, investigating the claim that religion is inherently ignorant. This show is a doozy and the beginning of a new interview structure I’m working on.
