After setting out to complete 14 ultramarathons in 14 days, the physical toll has already become far greater than expected. Rob reflects on the opening four days, the highs of running alongside friends and family, and the growing concern surrounding his knee. By Day 4, running was no longer possible. Rob was forced to walk and hobble his way through the full 50KM, supported every step of the way by his immediate family through relentless rain, wind and brutal trail conditions. In this episode, Rob opens up about the pain, frustration and uncertainty he is facing, including the very real possibility that he may not be able to finish what he started. This is not the update he hoped to give, but it is an honest look at what happens when a massive challenge begins to push the body beyond its limits.
