Heather shares her personal story, from a young missionary wife in Scotland trying desperately to meet the expectations of others to a woman gradually discovering her confidence, her gifts, and the freedom of living in God's grace. It wasn't an overnight transformation. There were difficult seasons, painful words, unexpected changes, and plenty of moments when she questioned whether she measured up. But through it all, God was quietly shaping something beautiful. And as Heather reminds us, our value isn't found in our successes, and our failures don't diminish our worth. Our value comes from what God says about us. Using the imagery of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, Tiffany and Heather talk about the seasons when women feel stuck in their cocoons, held back by fear, comparison, grief, or the expectations of others.     Helping Isn’t Always Fixing Loving Others Without Carrying What Belongs to God Have you ever appointed yourself CEO of other people’s problems? No election. No business card. Yet somehow you’re rewriting conversations, planning family peace treaties, and thinking, “If everyone would just listen to me for 15 minutes, I could straighten this whole thing out.” In this episode of In His Circle Seedlings, Tiffany Windsor shares a lesson she’s learned about the difference between loving someone and trying to fix them. When people we love are hurting, it’s natural to want to step in. We offer advice, smooth over conflict, replay conversations, and sometimes carry emotional burdens that were never ours to carry. But Romans 12:18 offers an important reminder: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” We are responsible for our own words, attitudes, forgiveness, and willingness to love. We are not responsible for changing another person’s heart. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is listen well, pray faithfully, be present, and then trust God with the outcome. Because helping isn’t always fixing. Sometimes helping means carrying the people we love to Jesus instead of trying to carry them ourselves.     God Says You’re Valuable When the World Measures What You Do, God Sees Who You Are Who were you before the world started telling you who you were supposed to be? In this deeply personal In His Circle podcast, Tiffany Windsor and Heather Brigstock talk about the journey of becoming the woman God created you to be and what happens when we stop measuring our value by other people's expectations, our successes, or even our failures. Heather shares her own journey from a young missionary wife trying desperately to fit expectations, through seasons of feeling as though she could never quite measure up, to gradually finding her voice, recognizing the gifts God had placed within her, and becoming more fully herself. As she describes it, the transformation has been a little like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. She may not be completely out of the cocoon yet, but she can finally see the colors.  Along the way comes an important truth: your value isn't found in your successes, and your failures don't make you less valuable. Your value comes from what God says about you.  Tiffany and Heather also talk about the comparison trap, getting stuck in fear or past hurts, and refusing to let the difficult chapters of our stories define the chapters still to come.     What Miriam Teaches Us About Courage, Calling, and Guarding Our Hearts God doesn’t require perfect women to accomplish His purposes. In this In His Circle podcast episode, Tiffany Windsor and Heather Brigstock continue their journey through the women of the Bible with Miriam, a woman whose story is filled with courage, leadership, praise, influence, and some very human mistakes. As a young girl, Miriam courageously watched over her baby brother Moses and stepped forward when action was needed. Years later, she became a prophetess and led the women of Israel in praise after God’s miraculous deliverance at the Red Sea. She was a woman of action and purpose. As Heather points out, Scripture describes her with powerful verbs: she stood, she said, she went, and she called.  But Scripture also lets us see another side of Miriam. Comparison, jealousy, and bitterness eventually crept into her heart, and God corrected her. Her failure didn’t erase the significance of her life. Instead, it gives us a remarkably relatable picture of what it means to be called by God while still being a woman who is growing.
