The Banking System Is Designed To Keep You As A Slave | Mo Rafi Exposes The Truth

What if the reason you're financially stuck has nothing to do with how hard you work — and everything to do with what the banks are deliberately NOT telling you? In this explosive episode of The 7th Voice Podcast, I sat down with Mo Rafi — Canada's #1 Credit Coach, ex-banker, Forbes Councils member, and founder of Rafi Credit Consulting — for one of the most honest conversations about money, credit, and the Canadian banking system ever recorded. Mo didn't learn this from a textbook. He lived it. He was a teller at Scotiabank, a trader at TD, an account manager at RBC, and a financial planner at CIBC managing over $40 million in client assets. He's sat across the desk from the people who decide whether YOU get a mortgage, a line of credit, or a credit card — and he knows exactly how the game is played. Now he's telling you everything. 🔑 WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE: → Why the credit score you see on your bank app is not the number banks actually use to judge you → The difference between your Equifax and TransUnion scores — and which one matters most → The 4 escalation levels inside Canadian banks that can get you approved even after a rejection → Word-for-word: what to say to negotiate a lower interest rate on your credit card or loan → How to buy property in Canada with zero money down — legally and transparently → What a 720 Equifax credit score actually unlocks (hint: up to $200K in unsecured credit) → How to use debt strategically to build passive income and generational wealth → The #1 mistake newcomers to Canada make in their first year that costs them years of credit history → Why 47% of Canadians are quietly paying 19% interest — and how to escape that trap → The real reason inflation feels so much worse than the official numbers suggest This is not your average personal finance podcast. Mo doesn't speak in safe, corporate-approved language. He says what the banks don't want you to hear. He names the systems, the loopholes, and the strategies that have helped hundreds of his clients get approved for funding, buy their first homes, and build real financial independence in Canada. Whether you're a new immigrant starting from zero, someone trying to rebuild after bad credit, a first-time homebuyer, or just a Canadian who wants to stop being financially exploited — this episode will give you language, strategy, and fire you didn't have before. ⏱️ EPISODE RUNTIME: 40 Minutes 🎙️ HOST: Aziz Adesanya 👤 GUEST: Mo Rafi — Credit Coach, Ex-Banker, Founder of Rafi Credit Consulting 📍 RECORDED IN STUDIO, CANADA 🔗 Find Mo Rafi: TikTok & Instagram: @raficredit / @raficredit.ca Website: www.raficreditconsulting.ca Listen to the 7th Voice Podcast on:   Spotify – https://open.spotify.com/show/220K28jrbyOhSsl3ZTFdCj   Apple Podcast – https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-7th-voice-podcast/id1708375821  Watch On YouTube: https://youtu.be/5QldjFpUzns Follow for Real Estate Tips:   Book a Call: https://calendly.com/azeezadesanya/real-estate-action-plan-call   Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/azeezadesanya_/  Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/7thLayaRealty   Website – https://www.7thlayarealty.ca/   🎙️ About The 7th Voice Podcast The 7th Voice Podcast is a podcast where we have great discussion about entrepreneurship, building wealth, investment, Technology , financial freedom and  impact — in ways that actually work for your life. Most Replayed Replayed Moment: My Financial Advisor Never Mentioned This — It Passes Wealth to Your Kids With $0 in Tax

What separates those who build wealth from those who simply earn money? In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Kay — physician, leader, and one of the most thoughtful voices on purpose-driven wealth-building — for a conversation you'll want to listen to twice. Dr. Kay opens up about the financial strategies he wishes he had started earlier, including the often-misunderstood power of dividend-paying participating whole life insurance and how it stacks up against real estate as a tool for building and passing on generational wealth — completely tax-free. He introduces his framework of the 3 M's of Life: Making and Managing Relationships, Making Money, and Making a Difference — and explains why all three are inseparable when you're building a life of real impact. We also have an honest, grounded conversation about Canada — its economy, the political landscape, real estate, and why immigrants often carry the deepest appreciation for what this country offers. Whether you're an investor, a first-generation wealth builder, or someone who wants their life to mean something beyond the balance sheet — this episode is for you. Key topics: • Dividend-paying whole life insurance vs. real estate • Building cash value without affecting your credit score • Passing assets to the next generation tax-free • The 3 M's of Life framework • Canada's economy, politics & housing market • Why environment is the most underrated factor in success • "Heavenly real estate" — investing beyond yourself Listen, share, and leave a review if this episode moved you.

His Own Father Said He Would Starve. 24 Years Later, Comedian Acapella Became a Global Comedy Icon

In this powerful episode of The 7th Voice Podcast, host Azeez Adesanya sits down with one of Nigeria's biggest comedy exports — the one and only Comedian Acapella (Benneth Chinedu Daniel) — for one of the most honest, hilarious and deeply inspiring conversations you will hear this year. Acapella opens up about starting his career as a teenager in a gospel music group, owning a video club at 17, secretly leaving his family home to chase a dream nobody around him believed in, and building himself into a global comedy brand over 24 years — from winning AY's Open Mic Challenge in 2008 to starring in Amazon Prime's LOL: Last One Laughing Naija and being honoured by the Mayor of Winnipeg, Canada. But this episode goes far deeper than comedy. Acapella gets real about the financial brutality of putting up your own show, why he has never performed at Lagos Government House and never will, what it truly costs to speak truth to power as an entertainer in Nigeria, and the one legacy he wants to leave behind when everything is said and done. This is not just a comedy interview. This is a masterclass in resilience, integrity, creative independence and building a global brand from absolutely nothing. What you will hear in this episode: ✅ How the name "Acapella" was born from a gospel music group ✅ The night his father told him "if people don't laugh, you don't eat" ✅ How he secretly left his family home in 2006 to chase his dream ✅ The business advice Okey Bakassi gave him that changed everything ✅ How Nigerian comedy went global — and the numbers behind it ✅ The real financial cost of putting up a solo comedy show in Nigeria ✅ Why he has NEVER been to any Government House ✅ His powerful reflection on EndSARS and what made it historic ✅ His upcoming Fire and Ice tour with Stalker ✅ The legacy he wants to leave: integrity above everything 🔔 Subscribe for more conversations on success, finance, and personal growth.
