    Cathy and her husband, Andrew are the Founders of Team Iron Will, a non profit that provides Material Assistance, Educational Opportunities and Medical Advocacy to the Down syndrome community. Misty and Cathy were first connected in 2021 when both of their sons experienced Infantile Spasms and they have gone on to offer support to mothers and host dozens and dozens of webinars for families in the community. In today's episode, they are exploring what it means to accept the limitations of their children who have a disability, while also presuming competence.
