    Open-Mindedness Unlocks Growth Keeping an open mind is a gateway to perpetual growth.     Chubby Unicorn Club (Rhinoceros Success Book Breakdown)

    This book is one of the most basic, yet effective, reads that i've yet to come across. The book is titled Rhinoceros Success written by Scott Alexander. Below you will find a quick overview on what this book entails in hopes of giving you some pointed to continue dominating what you're after in life. Enjoy! Quotes  “A rhinoceros charges with singleness of purpose. All energy is directed toward the attainment of one burning desire.” → My desire is to have financial freedom in order to do what I want when I want and how I want.  “Success is there for anyone who will get off their butt and charge it down!” “We become the product of three things: the people we associate with, the books we read, and the media we listen to.” “Charge with rhinos, fly with eagles, run with cheetahs, and eat with lions. Don’t hang around with cows or sheep.” “Money is not the root of all evil—love of money is.” Don’t love money. Love what money can do for YOU and for ALL THE PEOPLE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HELP once you have it. Don't forget to pay yourself first. It's okay to be selfish at the beginning as long as your end goal is to help spread the love to those in need. 10 Characteristics of Living Like a Rhinoceros Rhinos Charge Early. Rhinos don’t sleep in late (wake up earlier—Slowly but surely) , or hit the snooze button. They jump out of bed when their “opportunity clock” sounds and charge into their day with excitement. 2. Rhinos Charge Massively After One Thing. Rhinos know the importance of charging, it is what they were made for. And how do they charge? Massively! They charge down the big goals and opportunities. They also make sure that they are only charging down one opportunity at a time. You can’t effectively charge in 2 directions. They pick one and charge at it with everything they have, then they move on to the next. 3. Rhinos Believe in Themselves. Rhinos believe that success is theirs for the taking. They expect success, and therefore they create success. 4. Rhinos Put Themselves Through Training. To achieve rhinoceros levels of success you have to be prepared for it. Mentally and physically. Rhinos read good books, surround themselves with good people, get enough sleep, eat good foods, and workout. 5. Rhinos Plan For Success. Rhinos have goals. And more importantly they create plans for achieving those goals. Once they have a plan in place they charge down everything on that plan. 6. Rhinos Are Audacious. What is there to be afraid of as a six thousand pound animal with a horn on the front of your head? Nothing! Rhinos are daring, adventurous, and bold. They believe in the saying “go for it!” 7. Rhinos Never Give Up. No matter how tough the journey is, Rhinos keep charging. They may slip and fall, but they will get back up and charge even harder. Nothing will stop them from charging down their opportunity. 8. Rhinos Like But Don’t Love Money. Money is great and rhinos will chase down as much of it as they can. However, rhinos don’t love money. They approach gathering money as a hobby, rather than a job. Rhinos are also very generous with their money. But every rhino knows that to be successful with money they must pay themselves first. 9. Rhinos Balance Work and Family. Many even try to combine the two by involving their family in their work. After all, a rhino doesn’t do work that is boring, rhinos do work that is more like a hobby. Rhinos understand that you need to love what you do to be successful. There is no better way to love the work that you do than by involving those that you love in your work! 10. Rhinos Embrace Problems. In fact rhinos love problems. Problems are a sign that you are making progress. If you don’t have any problems it means that you are not taking any action on your goals.     Feeling Demotivated by Other's Success? Sadly it is an all too common experience that can be influenced by various factors. Remember that everyone has their own unique, individual journey and timeline for success. Also, it is absolutely paramount, that you understand what may be a new concept…there is NO finish line on the road to YOUR success! It is the infinite game we decide to play! So in true nursing style, let’s assess a few possible reasons why you might feel demotivated: 1. Unrealistic Comparisons 2. Fear of Failure 3. Lack of Clarity 4. External Validation 5. Limited Perspective Using the success of others as a source of inspiration rather than discouragement requires a shift in mindset and adopting certain strategies. Here are some approaches to help you embrace others' success positively: 1. Reframe Comparison 2. Seek Inspiration, Not Comparison 3. Learn from Success 4. Cultivate a Supportive Network 5. Set Personal Goals and Milestones 6. Practice Gratitude and Self-Reflection Removing yourself from social media platforms that contribute to discouraging feelings can be a wise decision if they are consistently impacting your well-being and motivation. Here are a few considerations to help you make that decision: 1. Identify the Impact 2. Prioritize Mental Health 3. Set Boundaries 4. Seek Alternative Inspiration 5.
