    #15: Holidaying|Self-Reflection|Announcement

    It's been so long that I have even forgetting how to write this part here! But firstly, apologies for the long break, we went on holiday and got lazy. So much for our new year resolutions! Anyways how have you all been lovelies? Let's catch up. We went to get some winter sun and it was a blast. Now we're back, we're tanned and we're getting deep. We get into all sorts together today joined by the lovely Subeida. We speak about touristing in places where you stick out like a sour thumb and being asked 'where you're REALLY from'. Do you say no to strangers abroad who ask to take picture with you or is it not worth the hassle? We get into self reflection mode as we speak about openly communicating with loved ones, self assurance and anxiety. We speak of therapy and our views on it as well as looking back at the pandemic and how it forced us to slow down (some more than others). Lastly, there's a super important announcement and a change to the hear this pod we know (and love🤭) Well anyways, I could talk about what we spoke about forever, or...you could go ahead and press play.     Did you miss us? Tell us the truth. Well absence makes the heart grow fonder and all! We're back and dare I say better? The girls return to open up with vibe check again, joined by the amazing Subeida and Salma. Vibe check as always opens up a whole can of worms leading to our past fashion flops, love languages and much more. Kosar then follows us up with a double whammy of curated life questions that get us thinking. What are some harsh truths you keep tucked away? Do you feel swindled and bamboozled into corporate/9-5 living and do we measure merit based on academic accolades? We talk nepotism versus resources and some of the worst things to happen to humanity- that horrid thing being capitalism! Lastly and definitely not the least, we talk about the premature worries of raising wholesome little humans and unleashing them into this cold world.     Hey lovelies, how's the new year been treating you? We're here to make it better. We shuffle things for this episode with a new edition, vibe check by the digital sisterhood! The girlies are trying to get deep and open up some vulnerability in these sections. Would you rather be stranded alone or with your worst enemy! Sometimes alone is better than with a hater or can you guys patch it all up? We also discuss our two recent watches, Anyone but you and The boy and the heron. If you haven't seen any of these two, get yourselves to the cinema ASAP! If someone's recovering from substance abuse, should you also reduce your intake and be supportive or does it not affect them?     #12: Fitness talks|Insomia|Lucid Dreams

    It's the new year so you know we're on what everyone's on. Promises of fitness and working out are thrown around. Gyms are packed out beginning of the year so we ain't trying to be basic over here and that's why Suhaar's back on Muay Thai and Kosar's taking up hot yoga. What you on this year? Join us for the first episode of the year (a chaotic one) to just kick back and chit chat with your girls. You ever been able to hit pause and play on a dream mid sleep? Well apparently this is something that can be done and practiced. Allegedly. We pick apart sleeping habits, difficulties sleeping and what we're looking to change this year. We take a moment to appreciate the small acts of kindness we've received as well as what kind of things make us feel appreciated. We celebrate both our journey so far into the podcast world as well as wish Kosar a happy birthday!! How are you feeling from a scale of 0-10? What's been new? We discuss our recent watches and give our opinions on Saltburn. Have you seen it yet or not a bit of you? Kosar gives us a look into life in the creative industry and some obstacles she sometimes faces. We look at how there are so many routes into a creative role and how it's not really made accessible to everyone. We talk about paving new paths for ourselves in spaces that don't accept us or expect you to change yourself to tailor to them. We also discuss a reddit post that made us feel helpless so if you would give better advice or are familiar with a similar situation, let us know please. Lastly, we briefly touch on the case of Jonathan Majors and the elements involved. Language used and even the manner of approaching certain individuals is always interesting.
