We are so excited to be chatting with a very special miss director lady, Sage Bennett. Sage is a female director based in Mexico City. Her insights, and cinematic brilliance paired with her mastery of voice overs proves her to be the epitome of a renaissance woman, and a true Hot Artsy Girl (which is basically a modern way of saying renaissance woman). We talk all about navigating the world of creating and directing, she shares some invaluable wisdom on keeping the faith of your vision even with a tight budget or limited recourses. Sage takes us through some of the highs and lows of her career, from humble beginnings to some of her proudest career achievements.     The Power Of A Good Mentor

    This is a deeply personal and vulnerable solo episode with your girl, Natalie Rose! In this intimate session, I get into the layers of my journey through art school, navigating my artistic career so far, and how I ultimately got to starting my creative agency, The Conduite. Join me as talk about my controversial opinions of what it truly means to be a working artist in today's world, my thoughts on BEING SCRAPPY (my fav word) and how I turned my hobby into a job. From grappling with the label of being an "artist" to the pivotal moment of embracing what that means to me... this is my high school "coming out" story. At the heart of it all lies the profound influence my 7th grade art teacher, Mr. Coleman, had on my career. How he single-handedly shaped the trajectory of my life. I talk about the power of mentorship (good and bad) how even horrible bosses can be ultimately positive to experience. This is more than just a story—it's a nod to leaning into who you're truly meant to do...the power of embracing who you are.
