Hey guys, it’s Jenita here. I’ll be your host for this podcast. I am a 20-year-old biotechnology student currently in my second year. At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with a rare cancer, and unfortunately, I relapsed when I was 18. Since then, I have been undergoing treatment, and it has been a challenging journey. I am taking it one day at a time and living each day to the fullest. So get ready for a rollercoaster ride on this podcast as I'll be dishing about navigating life with cancer and regular stuff like college. My mission? to go grab life & to make sure you go grab it as well :)

    Hey guys, it's Jenita, your host from Jenztalk! In this first episode of "Cancer Unfiltered," I have the amazing Yasmine Lyngdoh with me. She's not only a childhood cancer survivor but she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at the age of 28, last year and is going through treatment since. When I was going through my own struggle with my cancer relapse, I stumbled upon her Instagram page and slid into her DMs. One thing led to another, and here we are recording this awesome podcast - woohoo! I truly hope this podcast acts as a guiding light for all you young people out there, inspiring you never to give up and to go grab life. Through our open and heartfelt conversations, we aim to lift your spirits and give you the strength you need. Life can be tough, and none of us have a guarantee for tomorrow, so why not start living to the fullest today?
