    To the Glory of God

    One of God’s directives to humanity, when Adam was created, was to be fruitful and multiply. This was not relegated to natural procreation, but even more importantly, it pointed towards the value of spiritual procreation. Malachi 2:15 validates this, informing all that God desires humanity to produce the godly seed. This equates to making disciples of men. As Romans 2:4 informs, the “goodness of God” leads men to repentance. God’s witnesses (Acts 1:8), his bride, his church, are dispatched by him to exemplify his goodness to all who will be redeemed by showing how glorious he is.     Perfected Patience

    To enter the Kingdom of God, a person must pass through tribulation first. To successfully accommodate this and navigate the wilderness effectively, the individual must uphold a "patient mindset." A patient mindset is emboldened by having "faith" in the Lord; a capacity afforded to all men by Jesus Christ to be used for their salvation's purpose.     The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand

    Both Jesus Christ and John the Baptist began their New Testament ministries by declaring that the “Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand.” This acknowledgment would serve as the theme behind all they taught. The expectation of Heaven’s arrival on Earth is meant to press men not prepared to face God, to become prepared, for the Bible teaches that no man has seen the face of the Lord and lived. With Heaven’s inevitable arrival on Earth, it behooves every man to adhere to the counsel of Jesus Christ with haste, that they may be conditioned to see God and live.     The Joy of the Lord

    John 3:16 reads, "For God so loved the world, that hegave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Based upon this Scripture, everlasting life is only offered unto those who "believe" in the Son, Jesus Christ. To ensure believers remain on the path towards everlasting life, God equips their faith with an unspeakable "joy." A "joy" that intertwines with their faith emboldening believers to press through every obstacle encountered throughout life. The "joy" of the Lord is truly the strength of the believers of God.     God's Proving Ground

    There is precedence throughout the Bible showing God’s desire that men prove they love him more than these (John 21:15-17). This can only be identified to God after men have been tried and made weak through it. As a result, their steadfastness in faith demonstrates to God that they are not weak, but indeed very strong in their love towards him.     The Overcomers

    Man is made to glorify God. His very image was meant to make men think of God. His likeness was purposed to do the same. As also with God, man was to govern the dominion delivered to them by God and subdue any rebellion. Sin would eventually disqualify men from their position but through Christ, they are allowed to return. Returning meant imperfection would reign until the time of reformation amid the hostility of satanic forces. Making straight that which was crooked would not be without its challenges, yet those who overcome would gain the right to reclaim what they lost. The overcomers are bidden by God to rise, to stand, to endure, to press on, to regain their glorious identity as God’s image and likeness through Jesus Christ.     A Good Conscience

    John 4:23 says that God seeks those who worship him in spirit and truth. When looking at the men who died during the flood, God saw their hearts wicked and their conscience not good before him as they perpetually thought evil (Gen. 6:5). An answer of a “good conscience” before God through baptism is the remedy to an evil heart (1 Pet. 3:21) which ensures passing God’s inspection as he looks for “true worshippers” in the Earth.
