This week, we recap our fantasy football drafts, look ahead to the upcoming Colompton Draft, and check out the results of Sports Illustrated running 100 simulations of the upcoming NBA season to see which teams the computers think have the best shot at taking home the title. We get into pheromone maxing, the Treasury selling $1 Trump coins, a $50,000 UNO championship, and Meta disabling the cameras on thousands of AI glasses after users figured out how to tamper with the recording light.     Juan and Neps join this week on the podcast. We kick things off with the Washington Commanders vs. Baltimore Ravens preseason matchup and talk about what, if anything, we can actually take away from preseason football.     Colompton Beer Club #275- Hobby Lobby

    Fantasy football season is here, the NFL preseason is rolling, and the Colompton Beer Club is here to talk about this week. We kick things off with fantasy football talk, our upcoming draft order, mock drafts, and some of the latest NFL preseason news. We also get into Bengals rookie Ceyair Wright stepping away from the team for a leading film role, some NFL stats heading into the 2026 season, and a little NFL geography trivia. Then we build our own version of a 40-team NFL featuring eight expansion franchises, including four teams in Europe, and discuss what international expansion could mean for the league. Plus, we react to a bizarre incident involving a girl storming a middle school football field and attacking a player and talk about the massive sale of the Los Angeles Lakers. Outside of sports, things get even stranger. What hobbies do women find most attractive in men? What are men's biggest "icks" when it comes to women? Do we really need AirPods with built-in cameras that allow Siri to see and remember our surroundings?     Colompton Beer Club #274- Smooth Criminals

    This week, we start by fantasy football, talking draft strategies, players we're targeting, league etiquette, and whether fantasy has made watching the NFL better. With that, we also prep for our fantasy football leagues by setting up the draft order by drawing names out of a hat. Nothing fancy. We look ahead to the 2027 Pro Football Hall of Fame class and discuss what really separates a Hall of Famer from a player who was simply great during his era. From there, we get into the WNBA after a coach came under fire for defending an opposing player's hard foul on Sophie Cunningham, raising the question of whether a coach should always publicly have their player's back. Then things get a little more unsettling as we talk about the growing surveillance state in America, including Flock license-plate cameras, AI tracking, and a report involving Snapchat AI flagging a private conversation to the FBI. How much privacy are we willing to surrender in exchange for safety and convenience? Dante shares his thoughts on the 2026 Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, including Jaafar Jackson's performance, the music, Michael's cultural impact, and whether the modern music biopic formula is starting to wear thin. Of course, it wouldn't be the Beer Club without the beer. This week we're sipping on and reviewing Ridge Runner from Breckenridge Brewery and Small Batch IPA Rotator IPA from Great Lakes Brewing Co.     Fantasy football is heating up, NFL preseason football is officially here, and we're back to catch up on sports, life, and everything happening around us. This week, we get into fantasy football and the Hall of Fame Game before talking about the new Dick’s House of Sport in Annapolis. Dante recaps a busy weekend that included Skullfest aka DMHstival with Spades and the Glizzy Cam, a few Old Fashioneds, and a trip to the Muay Thai Developmental League (MDL).
