    Ballin' My Whole Life - Toru's Story

    Send a text Apply at Langston.edu Senior Toru Dean became one of the focal points of Langston University's Men's Basketball Team when he arrived during the 2022-2023 season. Because of his leadership on the court, the Lions are 66-5 over the last two seasons, with an appearance in the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship Tournament to cap off another incredible season.     Put Your Negativity In Your Legs and Run - Byrion's Story

Even after her family's escape, depression and anxiety crept its way into her thoughts. Little did she know her outlet would run up on her... literally!     Showing Up and Showing Out - Lovette's Story

    Send a text Apply at Langston.edu Lovette Mba grew up in a small Nigerian Community in Wichita, Kansas, and dreamed of going to an HBCU.  Because of Langston University's McCabe Honors Program, she received a full-ride to school and has done nothing but succeed since. Recently, she was a recipient of the White House HBCU Scholarship. Listen to learn more about her experience growing up in a cultural community, coming to LU and becoming an HBCU White House Scholar.
