    A Black Mom's Guide to Raising Resilient Boys

    We were excited to welcome Tonya Clark of MindfulEd, to the podcast this week! We discuss actionable approaches to building cultural identity, supporting our children's emotional well-being, and instilling pride and confidence in the face of negative societal narratives. This episode is a powerful guide for mothers of Black sons who are committed to parenting with purpose and intention. We also dive into Tonya's initiative, "Broga," a mindfulness and yoga program designed for black and brown boys. Tonya first introduced Yoga to her son as a way to help him manage his big emotions.
