    Choosing You! The Cost of My Choices!

    In life, God gives us something incredibly powerful—free will. Every single day, we make decisions and choices based on what we believe is best for us in that moment. But imagine if someone handed you a magic crystal ball that could show you exactly where your next decision would lead. Wouldn't you look? I know I would, especially if that one choice had the power to completely change the course of my life. I've made decisions I wish I could erase. Decisions that, if I could turn back the hands of time, I would change in a heartbeat. Some choices have pulled me into storms so fierce that I've questioned everything about my life. There were seasons when I felt like I was drowning in the consequences of my own decisions, and I hated where they had taken me. But then there were other choices. The ones that opened doors I never imagined. The ones that led me to growth, purpose, incredible opportunities, and moments I'll cherish forever. Here's the truth: the life you're living today is the result of the choices you've made yesterday. Some choices become blessings. Others become lessons. But every single one leaves a mark. In this episode, I'm inviting you into my world—the real world. No filters. No pretending. No perfect ending tied up with a pretty bow. I'm opening up about my marriage, which is far from perfect. My sons, who are beautifully imperfect. And me... a woman who is doing her very best while carrying the weight of a life that, right now, feels completely overwhelming. The truth is, my life feels like a mess. There are days when I wake up hoping this is all just a bad dream, praying to escape the reality I'm living. But every morning, I open my eyes to the same circumstances. Today, I believe I have only two choices: walk away from everything I've ever known, leave everyone behind, and start over in a new city and a new state... or stay, face the pain head-on, and fight for the life I'm hoping can still be restored. Neither choice is easy. So come with me. Walk beside me as I share how I got here, the decisions that shaped this season of my life, the mistakes I've made, the lessons I've learned, and why these two paths are the only ones I can see standing in front of me. This is my truth. This is my story. And maybe, somewhere in it, you'll find a piece of your own.

    Why Playing It Safe Is Holding You Hostage

    For most of my life, “safe” was my comfort zone. I was the Safe Girl — the one who never took risks, who treated every unknown as a threat, who protected herself so much that she never truly lived. But playing it safe isn’t protection… it’s imprisonment. Life will always happen. Circumstances will shift. People will disappoint you. What you can control, however, is YOU — your beliefs, your decisions, your courage, and the way you choose to show up for your own life.     Trauma Bonding: You are Better Than That!

    Trauma is not new. It has been woven into the fabric of humanity for centuries—passed down from generation to generation, etched into our collective memory since the beginning of time. Think of the first murder—Cain and Abel. Imagine the pain, the confusion, the trauma their siblings had to endure knowing one brother turned against another. Think of the Israelites enslaved for 400 years—the mental anguish, the weight of suffering. Even Abraham, a man of great faith, was faced with sending his own son and concubine away because of Sarah’s pain. Trauma is real. It touches every soul. And it doesn’t simply vanish because the sun rises on a new day. But here’s the truth: You are not defined by your trauma. You have the power to acknowledge it, confront it, and heal from it. You are not called to stay trapped in a space with people who have no intention of healing. You are called to rise. To protect your peace. To reclaim your mind, your soul, and your future. One book that illuminated this truth for me is The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest. It taught me that mountains aren’t just obstacles—they are invitations to climb higher, to discover strength you didn’t know you had, to navigate life on your own terms. So today, I invite you: break free from the cycle of trauma. Step out of survival mode and into your healing era. This is your moment to rise above the pain, to rewrite your story, and to move with power, purpose, and intention.
