I loved this. The real discussion of what it is to be a dry drunk and a concise cut through of the noise of how a dry drunk communicates. Reminding a spouse of how they could be drinking but they aren’t, and how the spouse feels conflicted because it is hard. This individual has let go of their primary coping skill without any of the other process of how to live without suffering. Other people who are just holding on without finding treatment options need this. I love the truth of this. Also the power of being open. If y’all can be open then others can. Yall are amazing and I respect this. This is needed, specifically from both sides. Thank you all.
