    Yoga for EveryBODY!

Welcome to today's exciting episode with the enthusiastic Kristen Batzner. Where we will talk about the importance of advocating for yourself and knowing your own body thru yoga. Kris has practiced yoga for over 20 years. She started doing yoga in her living room with her mom- with a book with black and white photos of people doing yoga poses, and has moved to teaching at fitness centers, schools, yoga studios, and in her community. Her philosophy is simple- everybody can do yoga, regardless of shape, size, or experience. And EVERYONE should have the chance to experience yoga in their own bodies. Kris has created several yoga based communities both in person and online. In the last several years she has pivoted her offerings to become more personalized and to take full advantage of the virtual communities being created. Her current business, Central Michigan Kundalini focuses on helping people trust their intuition and live an aligned life to their fullest potential. She LOVES to give individualized focus and attention to each person present and am FILLED UP by helping others trust their intuition and express their fullest potential! Somethings to know about Kris: 1. Kris believes that Yoga is for everyBODY. You are never too old, stiff, differently-abled, or anything else to try yoga. EveryBODY can receive the benefit of a yoga practice. That's one of my main missions on this Earth. 2. She creates community. She loves to bring people together and adores connecting to people that are different from me. Her belief is that we are stronger together and that we can always learn from each other. Kris is at her happiest in a group of people getting to know each other. 3. Kris has an inherent nature of JOY.   She approaches life with gratitude and happiness for many things in her life and when she remember to tune into that she resides in JOY. And it seems to be contagious! Building on these principals Kris wants to help women become the BAD-ASS they know they are!
