Putin’s War on the 2024 Olympics with Roman Sheremeta

Putin’s War on the 2024 Olympics with Roman Sheremeta The Olympic Games are an important moment for the world. Millions of fans watch as the best and brightest athletes from countries around the world come together to compete against each other, with the ultimate goal of cultivating excellence, respect and friendship through sport. So the question arrises, what do you do when warlike aggressor countries actively involved in wars of conquest seek to participate in a world event based on peaceful interaction between nations? When Ukrainian cities and towns are being leveled in the name of the Russian Federation, and tens of thousands are falling in the largest war in Europe since World War Two, how do we uphold the Olympic spirit and its values which have been a defining part of peaceful global relations. On this episode of Ukraine Story Podcast we look at these questions as we speak with Professor Roman Sheremeta, an internationally known speaker, chairman of the Ukrainian American House, and the founding rector of the American University Kyiv. Space, Russia, and Ukraine Part 2: NASA Astronaut and F-16 Fighter Pilot Terry Virts

Space, Russia, and Ukraine Part 2: NASA Astronaut and F-16 Fighter Pilot Terry Virts Despite support from the United States, the present presidential Administration has made aid conditional on Ukraine’s agreement to limit engagement of the enemy and have been reluctant to send specific tools necessary for a victory over Russia. In this episode of Ukraine Story Podcast we sit with NASA astronaut and F-16 pilot Terry Virts for a discussion on the tools necessary for Ukraine to establish air dominance and ground superiority preliminary to a military victory. We also break down the various political perspectives which shape the debate on Ukraine in the United States Congress. Colonel Terry Virts is an American hero. With a decade as an American F-16 pilot and trainer, and eight months in outer space on the International Space Station (I.S.S.), he brings a unique perspective on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He is also the only American to watch Vladimir Putin bomb Ukrainians from 145 miles in outer space. He is a ferocious defender of liberty and the cause of Freedom in Ukraine. Having studied Russian in Moscow and served beside cosmonauts, he understands the Russian mentality of disregard for the innocent in the name of global conquest. We sat down with Terry for the latest edition of the Ukraine Story Podcast. “I’d rather stop this authoritarian march in its tracks right now for a small fraction of our defense budget rather than having to fight them with American soldiers 5 -10 years down the road. It is that stark of a choice. We either win in Ukraine or we try to win in Taiwan, or Finland, or Estonia or somewhere else. That’s the message… If Ukraine wins, it will be the last battle of world war three, if they lose, it will be the first.” - Terry Virts Terry Virts on Linkedin Follow Ukraine Story YouTube Linkedin Instagram Facebook Twitter / X Read reports and updates from the Ukraine Story blog

The Persecution of Ukrainian Protestants and Orthodox by Russia: Steven Moore live from Ukraine

When Russians invaded Ukraine in 2022, Orthodox and Protestant Christians outside the Moscow Patriarchate were targeted for torture and murder. In the 17% of Ukraine currently occupied by Russia, more than 500 Baptist churches have been shut down and Evangelical pastors have been tortured. Orthodox priests outside the KGB/FSB controlled Moscow Patriarchate have been declared anathema and subject to torture and execution. Ukraine Story interviews Steven Moore in Kyiv, founder of the Ukraine Freedom Project. Steven and his team have been on the ground bringing support to victims of Russian aggression and documenting the persecution of Christians by Russia. His website RussiaTorturesChristians.org (https://russiatortureschristians.org) is a wealth of testimonials. If you have been spoon-fed Kremlin propaganda about Kyiv persecuting Christians, you need to take some time to listen to this broadcast. Steven also offers a behind the scenes look at the battle on Capitol Hill over Ukraine, the importance of overcoming Russian propaganda in the West, and the vital importance of America staying true to our legacy of opposition to Soviet-style imperialism.
